Traditional stone built farmhouse in lovely surroundings, looking out over open farmland in a quiet hamlet near Valence d’Albigeois.

Extensive grounds (1/2 hectare) include a large private swimming pool (12 x 6m), summer kitchen, barbecue terrace, orchard and lots of outbuildings.

Beautiful rural peace& quiet

Superb setting, beautiful old house & we enjoyed our evening walks to the church. Pool was lovely but would really benefit from a bubble cover to keep temperature up ! Otherwise a perfect stay.

Vacances tranquille

Super maison, grande spacieuse. Mais le ++ de la maison reste la superbe piscine avec vue sur les champs, magnifique. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec un temps très mitiger et frais pour la saison mais nous avons s quand même essayer de profiter de la piscine. L'endroit très très calme, les commerces plus proches à 5km. Bon à savoir, à 300 mètres seulement une base de loisirs avec pas mal d'activités. Un grand merci à Graam pour sa gentillesse .

Exactement conforme à l'annonce

Arrivée accueillie avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de disponibilité par l'homme qui gère la location, maison au fond d'une impasse sans aucun passage, et vue imprenable sur les champs. Grande piscine parfaitement sécurisée, une bonne adresse!

Authentique , calme, idéal pour les familles

Très belle propriété rénovée avec gout, grande piscine exceptionnelle. Situé en pleine campagne tarnaise, au milieu des champs et des vaches,la maison est bien positionnée pour les commerce (10mn) et les visites dans le Tarn et l'Aveyron tout proche.

Un bon moment

Dans l’ensemble très bien avec quelques points à améliorer : la qualité de la literie pour les 2 lits doubles des chambres du fond à l’étage et un seul petit parasol pour s’abriter du soleil autour de la piscine. À noter que l’accueil de Graham a été très apprécié avec une bonne réactivité tout au long du séjour pour soit nous dépanner soit nous conseiller avec sa bonne humeur.

Why they chose this property

We first saw La Salle in September 2000; driving into what was then a farmyard the only sound being the background buzz of nature. Bliss . The middle of nowhere, incredible views, peace and quiet ; a complete contrast to city life. And a bit of a creative project too... 20 years later we are still at it!
In 2021 we put a new shower in the bathroom and retiled the bathroom floor . In 2022 we reconfigured upstairs to add a second bathroom, in what was a bedroom, and made the children's room into a twin bedroom. Next project : the attic!

What makes this property unique

Where to begin...
It's the perfect size for a family ; a small group of friends or a couple
Children love it - the pool; collecting bugs, baseball/rounders in the yard, hide and seek in the outbuildings, building fires; circuits..
It 's cool in the summer and warm in the winter
It brings out the inner artist / chef /writer in you
Its quiet but close to some great locations ; the city of Albi, the Tarn at Ambialet, Brousse le Chateau and Cordes de Ciel.
It feels like home.
