About this property

Bright 2 Bedroom Flat in Central London

## Space

This exquisite apartment in Westminster is perfect for guests who wish to experience Central London and all it has to offer. Inside, there are two commodious and bright bedrooms - one has a double bed, and one a smaller 'European' sized double (the photo shows a single bed but this has recently been replaced with a double bed). There's a stone bathroom with both a bath and a shower, through the smaller bedroom, and a separate toilet and sink just off the hallway. The living area lets in lots of light across the spacious room, with 2 large sofas, lots of cushions, and a large corner dining table to enjoy your meals at. The open plan space then leads to the kitchen, which is kitted out with all the essentials, including: kettle, microwave, hob, oven and washing machine.
Perfectly positioned a 30-second walk from St James's Park tube station, this property has grocery stores, ATMs and coffee shops on its doorstep.

## Access

Guests will have access to the entire apartment during their stay.

## Interaction

My support team or I will be contactable by email or telephone during your stay.

## Neighborhood

Knightsbridge’s main draw is the shopping – it is the site of London’s most famous store and rich man’s playground, Harrods, which most visitors sensibly enjoy more as an attraction than a retailer. Any committed shopper will enjoy browsing the stores (or perhaps just store windows) of the area's international fashion houses or London-based designers. These shops prey on Knightsbridge’s wealthy and fashionable sets, and reflect the fact that it is one of London’s most desirable locales. Architecturally, the same residential features unite Knightsbridge and Belgravia – broad leafy streets, stucco squares, cobbled pastel mews, and an aristocratic feel exuded by large townhouses flanked by wide-set columns. In the same vein, centrally located but infinitely more affordable, sits Pimlico. The area is perfectly situated to reach central London, enjoying beautiful views across the river to Battersea and almost personal access to Buckingham Palace and Westminster.

## Transit

Perfectly positioned a 30 second walk from St James's Park tube station. With easy access to buses and tubes to the rest of the city it is a 5 minute walk to Big Ben and a further 2 minute walk to the London Eye.

## Notes

11 January 2022: There's a notice on demolishing works in the area nearby, noise could be an issue for some guests.

Nice location
Easily accessible to many of the top London attractions, underground access, and a few nice bakeries and coffee shops. The Tube access is the main selling point for those on excursions. Perfect property to use as a base of operations (keep your stuff and rest) but not much more.

2 hours delay for check in . They don't have a replacement key. No compensation
I was also mistakenly sent a bill for £180 due to a supposed wrong check out (keys was delivered on time in the address). without any compensation. The place was nice. Very noisy at day because a construction site.

Short family stay in London
I was really surprised and the excellent location of this property. We were happy to be able to walk to almost all the attractions. The space and the beds were very comfortable.

Horrible Construction
Great location, and well managed. However, what they fail to tell you is that there is ongoing construction directly opposite the unit starting at 8am weekdays. It is so loud that it would up the dead. Considering the high temps, you have to keep the windows open (there is only 2 small fans) and all you get is noise and constant dust all day long. We all had a cough the entire time we were there. The constructions starts at 8am sharp. Weekends were quiet. Had we known about the construction we would never have booked. I also wouldn't book anywhere else once the construction is over.

An unbeatable location, but a somewhat tired property
There were a lot of minor problems with this stay, by comparison with what we expected. The living room floor was not well swept (my husband sewpt up immediately we arrived) and there some used crockery and cutlery had been left in the dishwasher. Several light bulbs were missing, though we managed to find replacements for a couple. The fitting to the en-suite bathroom radiator is damaged and frankly looks quite risky, and there were other minor issues such as a broken ceramic handle on the toilet also. The TV remote is either not working at all or the batteries have given out, because our only way of using the TV was via the buttons on the side. Overall, we just felt the property was a bit run down. On the plus side, though, we enjoyed the quiet nights and the easy accessibility to some of central London. By the way, the lift in the property is working, in contrast to what an earlier review suggested.
