According to the new short-term rental law in Greece (Law 5073/2023, effective from 01/01/2024), all guests who book through short-term rental platforms are required to provide their passport or ID details and pay two additional visitor taxe upon arrival:

€15 per night of stay (15€ × number of nights)

These taxes must be paid in cash upon arrival, before check-in.
A receipt will be issued in the owner's name for the paid amount.
The taxes are declared and returned to the Greek state monthly.
