Spectacular Mallorcan estate with swimming pool in Llubí.



Capacity for 8 people. There are a total of 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The house will welcome you on the ground floor with a very comfortable living room and dining room, in a Mallorcan rustic style and with high-quality decoration. The kitchen, independent with a vitroceramic hob and well-equipped, is next to the spacious dining room. One bedroom, a laundry room and a bathroom are located on the ground floor, the others are on the first floor.

In the outdoor area, you will find several terraces and beautiful corners that will delight you: chill-out area, covered corner with sofas and table for coffee, tea table, ... on the other side of the house, the swimming pool, barbecue and large table to enjoy pleasant company.

Finca Son Barraquer was a beautiful house to stay stay with masses of space inside and outside and a lovely pool which was good for relaxing in and also for swimming lengths. It was easy to access numerous places around Mallorca from Llubi. The beds were mostly really comfortable and it was a very peaceful retreat. The kitchen was well equipped and easy to use, and there were good facilities for washing and drying clothes.

Wonderful outside space for relaxing and barbecuing. Excellently equipped kitchen. We lacked for nothing. Walking distance to a supermarket and an excellent restaurant. We loved being out of the hurly burly, but close to all attractions. We’ll be back!

Photographs do not do this spacious charming home justice.

We had a family reunion and it was perfect providing respite and charm and so convenient to really good restaurants, pretty villages and beaches. The pool was perfect with 2 comfortable out door dining areas and shady havens. The garden is lush with lavender rosemary fennel and hibiscus , full of butterflies and nesting birds. It is a true sanctuary which ooozes happy times from other family visits no doubt. Everything you need to feel relaxed with charming quirks but not too precious.

What an absolute gem this house is

What an absolute gem this house is.So much more beautiful in real life. It’s in super central location . Easy to get to any part on the island yet super private and with beautiful views.Easy walk into town to get an icecreamfresh bread and a 10 min drive to Inca for a bigger shop.Recommend a smallish car- makes it so much easier to get around the small village streets .Kids absolutely loved the poolWe had a beautiful time with family here. Thanks for the memories and sharing this space with us.

This is a beautiful traditional Mallorcan farm house with tranquil outdoor landscaping - plenty of corners for everyone in the family to find their 'space'. A fabulous pool with glorious views over Llubi's rooftops to the mountains and the setting sun. Close enough to town to wander down and have a drink in the town square and buy fresh bread from the mini supermarketbakery but far away enough to enjoy peace and tranquility. The only issue we had was the downstairs bedroom - it is pretty dark and airless (has a very small window high up in the wall) and we had to air the sheets during the day due to the damp air in the room. However, the three upstairs bedrooms were lovely and well fitted out with lovely views.Would definitely recommend.

Son Barraquer Llubí finca

We wanted a Finca with nice looking outside areas with a good view - we got that. We like to cook - the kitchen has a good selection of most things a cook would want (knives pots pan etc) and some basics, salt pepper, oil...Gin. A stove and oven that works. Walking distance to very good restaurants. We got all of that. I think we got what we wanted and expected. I think some reviewers expect more than they want to pay, so there are lots of things that could be better but it would cost twice as much - as there was only two of us we didn't want to pay any more. So all i can ask is a better choice of smaller vincas - great views - great pool -great view of the pool when I'm cooking, and a few top restaurants on the beach a short walk away.

Can fully recommend it for families and groupsfriends

We had a wonderful time staying at this charming finca and can fully recommend it for families and groupsfriends. We were two families (4 adults), with two 6 year old and one toddler. The ratio of adults to toddler was good enough to be able to keep an eye on the little one around the pool and the stairs without railing in the living/dining area. Guests with toddlers should keep this in mind when booking. Plenty of common space with a big dinning table and living room to hang out in and eat together. We also used the grill at the poolhad breakfast there a few mornings at the big table for 10 people. The big kids loved exploring the garden around the finca. It’s magical! The rooms are clean, charming rustic design, mattresses slightly on the softer side, kitchen is fully stocked with pots pans and cutlery, kitchen towels. And we found basics for cooking in the pantry, like oil, olive oil, salt pepper, other spices. The location was perfect for us. We had rental cars. We went to the beach (25 min drive), to the mountains (30-45 mins), Palma (35-45 mins). One is in the Center and can reach different parts of the island. Llubi is small but charming with a local square, a few restaurants/cafés and a few small grocery shops. We were there at the end of October. It wa 25-30 degrees during the day and about 15 at night. Beware of the mosquitoes. Mosquito spray was a must but once we had figured out the time that the mosquitoes were active, everything was fine.

Très belle maison de campagne en pierre avec grande piscine et de nombreuses terrasses ombragées et très agréables. Le village de Llubí est très proches avec quelques commerces et restaurants accessibles à pied. En revanche, il est important de noter, pour les gens sensibles au bruit, que la maison se trouve dans le couloir aérien principal de l’île, ce qui rend l’environnement extérieur plutôt bruyant (une centaine d’avions passent au-dessus de la maison tous les jours à partir de 5h00 am!). L’intérieur de la maison au décor traditionnelle est spacieux avec de nombreux rangements dans les chambres et 3 salles de bain. En revanche, la literie n’est pas de grande qualité et les matelas sont très durs. L’absence de climatisation a rendu nos nuits extrêmement difficiles (37 degrés la journée et pas loin de 30 la nuit), certains ont même préféré dormir dehors. Prévoir de l’anti-moustiques car les attaques commencent dès le matin.

La casa esta muy bonita, restaurada con buen gusto y la piscina le da un punto extra. Está en el centro de la isla y queda un poco lejos de casi todo, tardas unos 45 minutos mínimo en las excursiones. La tele no funcionaba, llamamos para que la arreglaran y no vino nadie, así que hemos estado todos los días sin tele. Quitando de estos inconvenientes el resto muy bien si quieres pasar unas vacaciones en tranquilidad en una casa muy bonita y con mucho menaje para facilitar las comidas.

Nuestra impresión

Ubicación de la finca en las afueras de un pueblo pequeño y tranquilo en donde se pueden encontrar la paz y el silencio tan escasos en centros poblacionales y turísticos de importancia. Contrario a lo que se podría suponer, es posible acercarse en tiempo muy razonable a cualquier lugar de la isla. El pueblo dispone de supermercado, panadería y algunos bares restaurantes, a los cuales se puede llegar a pié en aprox. 5 minutos. La finca es muy adecuada para grupos numerosos, ofreciendo una cocina bien equipada así como diversos lugares de reunión y de retiro, tanto dentro como fuera de la casa, como son el área de la piscina, la cual dispone además de una mesa amplia con sillas suficientes para todos. Desde esta área se tiene una vista excelente a la sierra de la Tramuntana. La casa está rodeada de áreas verdes con muchas flores, plantas y árboles frutales, los cuales, durante las épocas de cosecha pueden completar la satisfacción de los huéspedes. En nuestra opinión, un lugar excelente para sentirse en el campo sin estar lejos de los puntos de interés de la isla. Algunos problemas menores: Algunos de los utensilios de la cocina, como la cafetera eléctrica, se encuentran defectuosos (posiblemente alto grado de calcificación). La llave de la puerta principal presentaba un defecto, lo que hacía muy difícil abrirla - además del riesgo de rotura de la misma llave. La solución fue el cambio de la llave.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dieser wirklich sehr schönen sauberen Finca in Llubí. Eine tolle Lage, das Dorf ist zu Fuß zu erreichen und der Pool, der Außenbereich sind wirklich traumhaft. Wir haben uns sehr Wohlgefühlt.

Recomendamos absolutamente esta casa

La casa es un sueño, fantástica, amplia, preciosa, de piedra y con un jardín cuidado , enorme y muy bonito. La encontramos muy limpia, la cocina bastante bien equipada y con electrodomésticos en un estado optimo , con la ropa de baño y cama de buena calidad, planchada e impoluta. Todo ha funcionado perfectamente y ha resultado muy cómoda. El wifi no es suficiente como para teletrabajar ( una de mis hijas lo necesitaba) pero puede que por la situación de la casa no se logre conseguir que sea mejor. La ubicación de la casa es la mejor para lo que queríamos, tranquilidad, silencio, amplitud , jardín, piscina (limpísima y preciosa) … no sabría decir la cantidad de cantos de pájaros que oíamos en la cama al amanecer. Fuimos cada día a una playa a cual mas bonita empleando unos 45 minutos como maximo. Perfecto para volver a media tarde al jardín y hacer parrilla a la noche. Eso sí , hay que ir bien provisto de repelente para mosquitos y enchufes , al menos en esta época. El único punto negativo fueron las tumbonas de la piscina. No estaban las que aparecían en las fotos sino unas rígidas y sin colchonetas que resultaban insufribles. Esto ha desentonado con todo lo demás, la verdad, había sillas pero para tomar el sol y reposar…no es lo más cómodo. O cupamos la casa antes de la hora estipulada porque nuestro vuelo llegaba muy temprano y, muy amablemente, el dueño nos lo permitió. Hemos estado el matrimonio y cuatro hijos adultos y todos volveríamos a la casa encantados por lo que recomendamos absolutamente esta casa , corrrigiendo lo de las tumbonas. Mil gracias por todo, felicito al dueño por la casa que tiene y por como la mantiene.

Vielen Dank, wir hatten eine super Zeit in der wunderschönen Finca. Der Pool ist einfach ein Traum. Die Finca besticht mit ihrem Charme, den Steinmauern, den blauen Fensterläden, üppige Blumen- und Pflanzenpracht rund ums Haus. Über die eigenen Zitronen aus dem Garten haben wir uns besonders gefreut. Nachts hört man zwar ein paar Hühner und Hunde aus der Nachbarschaft aber dafür ist die Finca trotzdem ruhig gelegen in einem kleinen süßen Örtchen in dem es auch einen Bäcker, kleinen Supermarkt, Apotheke etc. gibt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und können sie nur empfehlen. Beste Grüße

Ein schönes, altes mallorquinisches Haus mit tollem eingewachsenem Garten. Leider lassen Einrichtung und technische Geräte zu wünschen übrig. Diese sind teilweise nicht nutzbar oder vorhanden. Die Poolbeleuchtung funktioniert! Leider sind nur 4 Pool-Liegen - und diese ohne Auflagen - vor Ort. Vieles altersschwach und erneuerungsbedürftig. Da passte das Preis-leistungsverhältnis für uns nicht.

Die Finca ist ein Traum

Die Finca ist ein Traum. Ein tolles Anwesen mit allen Extras die man sich wünscht. Die Finca war sehr sauber. Man benötigt ein Auto, das eher klein sein sollte, weil sie Strassen sehr eng sind. Kommunikation war stets top.
