Gorgeous Log Home sitting on over an acre of greenery. Plenty of parking for all your jeeps, trailers, dirt bikes and vehicles. RV parking. Great views of the La Sal Mountains and the Moab Rim. This is a special rental; a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. Newly remodeled and furnished. Over 40 trees in huge lush yard. House features a large hot tub and 4 different decks. Enjoy an oasis in the desert!

Located in Spanish Valley, so you're out of the hustle and bustle when you want to be, but still just 10 min from downtown Moab. Explore the Ken's Lake and Mill Creek area right behind the neighborhood, filled with trails for hiking, biking, and Jeeping. Close to two different districts of Canyonlands National Park and just 20 minutes from Arches National Park. You are also close to the La Sal Mountain Loop Road for some great alpine road and mountain biking during the summer months.

The home comes with a private hot tub, Wi-Fi, fire pit, patio furniture, huge decks, RV parking, U-shaped driveway easy to navigate, and washer and dryer.

The main floor has a great room with living, dining and kitchen all shared -- a wonderful large space to gather and relax. The living room has a high vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, and a 55" flat screen with a Blu-ray Player and Netfix, Hulu and HBO Go accounts for you to relax after your adventures. Dining room has an extendable table that can sit up to 10 (12 if you've got kids). Seating for 4 more in the kitchen around the island. Kitchen has beautiful quartz countertops, rustic farmhouse style cupboards, and plenty of space to have a few cooks in the kitchen. Master bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunks, large closet, attached bathroom, and a private deck. Laundry room and 1/2 bath are in the back out of the way.

Upstairs there are two beautiful loft spaces looking down into the great room. Both lofts have amazing views of the La Sal Mountains and red rock cliffs as well as couches that convert into queen beds. A cozy bedroom that sleeps up to 3 is located off the hall upstairs. Also off the hall there is another full bathroom. Finally a large family bedroom that sleeps 6 and has it's own full bathroom and private deck.

This cabin is a vacation on it's own. We apologize in advance if you miss some of your planned attractions in Moab, because you never want to leave Sendero ("Trailhead" in Spanish.) Can't wait to share this place and wonderful Moab with you!

Great stay!
We loved our stay in Moab! This house is nice and close to Moab, yet far enough out that you have some privacy. LOVE the view from the house and how close it is to both Canyon lands and Arches National Parks. We had 5 kids staying ranging in age from 1-10 so the swing set and the hot tub were both thoroughly enjoyed! We also appreciated the nice big kitchen table for our meals. If I could give a couple recommendations it would be to get some tv trays of some sort in the living room so that adults have somewhere to set a beverage when sitting in there and we found no beach towels available to use for the hot tub, but we made due using the bath towels and washing them. Overall, I would definitely recommend this house! Very family friendly.

Great stay with extended family
Sendero worked out perfectly for our group of 11. The yard was the perfect spot for kids to play after a day of hiking. The house is spacious and still cozy. We’d stay here again.

Awesome views and awesome everything else
Adult family of seven for the Thanksgiving holiday! Cooked lots of food, played games, hiked, biked, watched movies and had a wonderful time. The house has everything you will need for a relaxing adventure. Lots of beds, hot water, big yard (played some soccer.. ) fully equipped and the host is awesome. Immediately helped with any questions. Just go and enjoy!

Jeeping in Moab
The property was very nice. For the most part it was clean. Our dogs found some morsels on the floor. Other than that it was very nice. The oven should be checked. We couldn't get a temperature above 287.

We are Doug and Bev Evans, owners of Sendero (Trailhead) cabin. We have loved the magic of MOAB for over 40 years. The red rock canyons, painted walls and soaring spires and arches make this our favorite natural playground. We love the endless opportunities for rafting, hiking, exploring, climbing, camping and 4 wheeling all through this amazing country. We would love to have you come enjoy the comforts of Sendero as a base camp for all your desert adventures!

Why they chose this property

We love this beautiful log home because of its warm, inviting character and its huge green yard. The home was built from old growth Oregon timber (up to 18 inch diameter logs) and has a wide-open feeling inside. We love the lofted ceilings and exposed rough-hewn beams. This is a very special property - unique in the entire Moab valley. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
