Only 2 good things: A good VIEW and a good PROPERTY MANAGER - That's the only good stuff..
I am not happy to write this review, but I feel an obligation to the public to share my experience.
I had difficulty with creating the reservation (that part is on me). But the rest of my experience I place on the Owner.
The studio is represented on the listing as being fully equipped for cooking, sleeping, temperature controlled and indoor plumbing. In my opinion, each of these was a disappointment and negatively impacted the enjoyment of our vacation.
The kitchen was very minimally equipped and the toaster was actually a fire hazard.
The queen bed was okay, but the fake leather couch was too uncomfortable to sleep on. I was on this trip with a male friend, (I'm a guy, too) and we ended up having to sleep together in the bed, which was crowded and uncomfortable for us. Also, I had to go to the thrift store to purchase extra blankets because it was too cold in the place.
The temperature controls were impossible to decipher, and it was very cold sleeping at night.
The plumbing was touch-and-go, and the shower was a trickle that took ten minutes for warm water.
The television controls were as much a mystery as the temperature controls. And there was no manual to help decipher the mysteries.
When I approached management about our experience, they were good ambassadors and good listeners. But it was clear that the owner was not willing to step up to making the place comfortable or safe.
I am a vacation rental owner of two units myself. I have had to learn that it is better to make improvements than to deal with the fallout of complaints.
