Welcome to Villa Nikolaos, an enchanting old farmhouse with a history spanning over a century. This beautiful property was lovingly restored by its owners in the early 90s, with great care and attention to preserving its traditional charm while putting in personal hard work.


Unwind and rejuvenate by taking a refreshing dip in the pool or finding solace under the shade of the magnificent trees in the lush garden. Villa Nikolaos offers the perfect setting for those seeking relaxation amidst the breathtaking beauty of Cretan nature. Nestled on the brow of a steep slope, the villa boasts exceptional views that dominate the surrounding absolute green landscape.


Villa Nikolaos can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests in its 2 beautifully appointed bedrooms, covering an area of 130m2. The ground floor of the villa features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals, and an inviting living room area complete with a 50 smart TV, Bluetooth speaker. Additionally, a convenient WC with a washing machine is available on this level.


A charming wooden internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where youll find the delightful two bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with A/C and central heating (radiator), ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay in any season. If needed, we can arrange for an extra bed to be placed in one of the bedrooms. Moreover, the first floor boasts a spacious veranda, spanning 40 sq. meters, where you can enjoy the refreshing outdoors and scenic views.


The outdoor area of the Villa covers 1300 sq. meters, featuring:
- A 32 sq. meter swimming pool. It is situated in the best spot, offering an amazing view of the surroundings. The pool terrace is equipped with sunbeds and seating areas for your comfort.
- Barbeque facilities with charcoal grill and outdoor dining table for al fresco dining
- A garden with roses and various flowers, large carob trees, stone-built terraces with grapevines and fruit trees, and vegetable gardens where you can learn how to cultivate vegetables! Moreover, you can even use the freshly harvested produce when preparing your meals during your stay! The spacious gardens also offer ample chance for kids to play around!
- Parking space inside the villa premises.
- The villa has a gated entrance and is fully fenced offering complete privacy!

Villa Nikolaos is located in the picturesque village of Archea Eleftherna (Ancient Eleftherna), in Rethymno Prefecture. For those who love the quietness, strolling, the nature and the genuine Cretan landscape, this villa is an exceptional choice.

The village is located on a high hill, surrounded by the main archaeological site of the prefecture which with the newly built museum of Ancient Eleftherna are worth a visit for discovering and feeling the ancient history of the area.

Access by car is easy to most parts of the island, for example Chania, Heraklion, Sfakia, Anogeia, Nida, Knossos, Faistos and the southern coast beaches, that are many and beautiful. The road network is excellent and passes through some of the most beautiful and still attached landscapes in Crete. Particularly we recommend the visit in the southern coasts, via the very green province of Amari via Arkadi, Thronos, Meronas, Gerakari, and Spili etc.
