Lovely cottage , very comfortable with all mod cons and small but secluded garden . central location , perfect for family to swim or visit local beaches ( by car)
What an amazing property, literally just round the corner from the beach and over the road from the pub. The garden is stunning with great views over the bay. Cawsand and its neighbour Kingsand are beautiful little bays with great walks and little pubs
We love cawsand and this accommodation is certainly one of the best we’ve stayed in. The host was so helpful and the property was exactly as described. We will return!
Tastefully decorated & well appointed cottage, in an ideal position, in this hidden gem location. Within walking distance to pubs, deli & restaurant & right on the coastal path. We would highly recommend & hopefully make a return visit.
Had a lovely time at the cottage in Cawsands. Cherry was very helpful and accommodating both before and during our stay when we had any questions. The cottage was very child friendly with lots of toys and little extras which helped entertain our daughter, and every room was clean and comfortable. We had a great few days and the sun even shone for us!
We enjoyed a great week's stay at this gorgeous cottage. It is superbly located, just a few seconds away from the beach. It is very well equipped and comfortable and our granddaughters particularly enjoyed finding and using all the children's books and toys in the property. We know Cawsand very well and it was great being in the heart of the village just yards from local eateries and pubs etc.Communication with the owner was excellent and, as usual, we enjoyed the various walks nearby.Thank you Cherry for letting us enjoy your lovely cottage.
My partner, 5 month old son and parents stayed at this property for 4 nights & had a really enjoyable time. The property is lovely with great amenities, though there are a couple of flaws that I hope will be fixed for the next guests who stay. One important one being the 2nd floor bed which needs repair, it created a loud creaking/clunking sound if like me you move from side to side in the night. Other than this, it’s a great holiday property very close to the sea in a beautiful village. I’d recommend it as a place to stay & we hope to return to the area. I’d also recommend the cafe directly across (The Cove) for Fish & Chips & coffees etc.
We had the best week at this cottage. It is so well located for the village and seconds walk to the beach. The cottage was fantastic and had everything we needed. The little garden is a wonderful extra. The village has wonderful small shops and lots of good pubs. The beaches are clean and safe, Great for swimming, paddleboarding or just sitting enjoying the view. The furthest we drove all week was two miles we just didn't need to go anywhere. There is parking in the village that is not expensive for the week and we were able to charge our EV overnight before heading home. The hosts are very good at communicating and responding to messages. We all fell in love with Cawsands and really hope to go back.
3 night weekend stay for 3 friends. Lovely cottage in great location, would recommend. Be aware no parking at the property but some free on road parking and car park a short walk away with weekly parking fee of £9 . We went at a quiet time of year so no problem finding a space .
Mix up with door code on arrival but resolved on contacting owner. Never did resolve the lack of hot water from the tap though, just a quirk and easily dealt with by boiling a kettle of water as and when needed . Lovely garden and decking area with lovely furniture set that catches the morning sun. Not sure if it has a sea view as bordering property currently has scaffolding in place .
Used The Cove take away across the road from the The Bay cafe on the. Beach front and the Cross Keys pub across the square and would recommend all 3 . Local spar not far away essentials . All friendly and very welcoming . Property is a few steps away from the beach. Sea glass and shell collectors paradise . Great area for walking with immediate access to the South West coast path, and lovely footpaths inland. Mount Edgecumb estate within walking distance . Would also recommend The Mount Edgecumb pub in Cremyll . Kitchen being renovated on our visit so only had drinks but nice interior , seating inside and out and again a very friendly welcome.
Great cottage, very well located next to a clean and beautiful beach. Good communications throughout the whole process. Excellent walks and swimming right from the front door.
The location of the cottage is perfect; the photos don’t do it justice; wonderful surprise to find the deck up the (steep) steps to the garden with comfortable garden furniture. We did great coastal walks in both directions. Overall a delightful village to discover with great food at the Davenport Inn and The Canteen- both are a must! We will be back.
The cottage is lovely, equipped with everything you’d need and has such a great outdoor space which overlooks the beach! We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were so lovely, helpful and accommodating! We will be returning!
We had an absolutely wonderful time. The owner was so helpful with a minor issue that cropped up, she really made things so smooth for us. Also - the garden is PERFECT for watching the Plymouth fireworks, an unexpected bonus to watch them from our “own” garden.
The cottage was stunning , very spotless the garden was lovely. the dog really enjoyed it and we were right by the beach and the dog love running around, very comfortable in the cottage , we really enjoyed our stay and we will go back to the same cottage again .
Overall, the property was very clean and well-equipped. However, the kitchen was not as spacious as we were expecting and the steps to the garden were very steep too.

We are sorry you felt the kitchen was not spacious enough, it is a 200 year old traditional character cottage rather than a modern house, we have tried to accurately describe and photograph the cottage, including references to the original steep steps (9 of them) to the garden all our sites so that’s guests can make an informed decision. We have never had this complaint before and are not able to change these aspects.
Imagine just stepping out of your front door and almost be on the beach, with a pub and shop just as near!
Well equipped house and also comfortable. Locals mainly welcoming as long as you keep your distance.
Just returned from a 4day break at this amazing beautiful cottage.
The decor is stunning and everything you could possible need is there. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Great location and beautiful walks.
We definitely would recommend anyone who is looking to stay here. Definitely would come back
