About this property
Comfortable, sunny & cozy near the beach and close to Lisbon
SUMMARY:
Located on the Estoril Coast, near the beach of São Pedro do Estoril, near the town of Cascais and Sintra (UNESCO), and direct access to the center of Lisbon (20 minutes by train).
Completely renovated, the eclectic decor and the intense light at the end of the day give the space a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
Perfect for those who want to visit Lisbon and relax, to practice water sports, Surf (beaches of Carcavelos and Guincho), play Golf (Estoril, Penha Longa) or just to enjoy the beaches.
DESCRIPTION OF SPACE:
This loft-style space is situated in a sunny 2nd floor of a charismatic building from the 70's, built for the summer residence of the Lisbon families, in São Pedro do Estoril (300 meters from the sea line) in an exclusive residential area, quiet and safe.
The space has been completely renovated and equipped with a kitchenette, equipped with new appliances (hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine Dolce Gusto) and new crockery, a bathroom with shower, equipped with hair dryer , a living area with a sofa bed for 2 adults and a bedroom area with a king size bed. The living room and bedroom area can be insulated allowing you to maintain privacy between these two areas.
To take advantage of the intense light in the sunset, I created a reading or working space on the porch to allow guests to enjoy a relaxing and inspiring afternoon.
The eclectic style of the decor with predominance of objects and furniture of the 70s and contemporaries, give a cozy, comfortable and quiet environment to the space.
The apartment is equipped with bed linen, towels and some supplies (dishwashing detergent, kitchen linen, shower gel, shampoo, soap and toilet paper).
In the summer I provide a beach bag with towels for the beach and a parasol.
Guests who are very fond of swimming pool and families with children can enjoy the swimming pool of the S. Pedro House space which is situated 50 meters from the building.
The versatility of the location and the welcoming atmosphere make this space unique.
GUEST ACCESS:
Guests have full access to the apartment / lof.
Access to the pool is restricted in terms of the number of hours of use, the hours of use are agreed at the time of check-in.
INTERACTION WITH GUEST:
My availability to interact with guests is total however they are the guests that define this interaction.
OTHER THINGS:
In the bathing season, I offer my guests a beach bag with towels, a sun hat and some beach toys for the children.
On S. Pedro beach, guests have an awning and two sunbeds reserved exclusively for guests of the apartment at no additional cost.
Guests have 4 bicycles, 2 adults and 2 young ones, for use in commuting within the neighborhood.
Additionally, I can provide some equipment such as bed / crib, children's crockery and toys, chair to put in the car.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
OVERVIEW:
São Pedro do Estoril is located on one side of the triangle, Lisbon - Cascais - Sintra, called "Cascais Line" or Costa do Estoril, name as it is known internationally.
The Estoril Coast lies at the western end of continental Europe, is a welcoming destination with an atmosphere of glamor, tranquility and a full and diverse nature, 20 km from the capital (Lisbon) and Lisbon International Airport.
The neighborhood of São Pedro do Estoril is situated next to the beach of São Pedro, it is constituted mainly by houses of the early twentieth century on the left side of the Cai Agua stream and on the left side, for houses from the middle of the same century. Bus 417 is the fastest service, which follows a direct route and takes 30 minutes to Sintra.
Bus 403 is much slower (1 hour trip) but the route crosses the coastal streets with panoramic views, to Cabo da Roca, the most western point of Europe, before climbing the mountains of the Serra de Sintra.
Both services depart from the Cascais Bus Station, located below the large shopping center "Cascais Vila", about 100 meters from the train station. The train station is on the left (east) of the shopping center and the main entrance. In Sintra, the bus ends the trip at the Sintra Train Station.

About the host
Hosted by Ana Ricardo
I was born and studied in Lisbon but I have lived since I was 10 years old on the Estoril Coast, in a first phase in Estoril and the next phase in São Pedro do Estoril.
I graduated in Economics (at the New University of Lisbon) and began working as a consultant in a telecommunications company, a sector in which I still maintain myself.
I have 2 children, Tomás and Pedro, they are adolescents who study in the area of science, but participate actively in the reception of the guests when I do not have availability.
I consider myself a nice person, affable and with a very refined sense of humor.
I love to read and to travel, whenever I can I try to visit new places and to know new cultures. I often go to the movies (but I do not see the book adaptations I read) and when I have availability, to keep fit and relax, I jog or walk on the seawall along the beaches

Why they chose this property
This property was purchased in November 2016 for the need to extend the local accommodation experience started with the S. PEDRO House property. The proximity between the spaces, 50 meters away, and the charisma of the building were the determining reasons for its acquisition, as it allows sharing common spaces, namely, the use of the pool, and facilitates the logistics and management of the spaces.
