The fully equipped kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, utensils, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. After a day of adventure, curl up by the wood-burning stove, stream your favorite shows on the Smart TV, or relax on the deck while listening to the soothing sounds of the creek.

Adventure is just minutes away! Please note that this is a true mountain cabin surrounded by nature. While our housekeeping team thoroughly cleans before every stay, you may occasionally notice pine needles, insects, spiders, dust, or wildlife around the property. That’s simply part of the authentic mountain experience—and one of the reasons we love it here.
We’re also happy to welcome up to two dogs, so your four-legged family members can enjoy the mountains with you too.
Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, a family vacation, a fishing trip, a snowmobiling adventure, or simply a peaceful escape from everyday life, Creekside Cabin offers the perfect home base for making lasting memories in beautiful Cascade, Idaho.

This property met our expectations. It was clean, tastefully decorated and supplies for a pleasant stay were at hand. Nice to know we weren't "snookered"! We would recommend this property.
Cabin was clean and perfect size for our weekend getaway! Great location and easy to find. It had a funky smell that you seemed to get used to, but had to open all windows and doors.
this is one of poorest place it was dirty no wood, no propane for BBQ I had to go get some. the bathroom had a bad smell as well as all of the bedding and the one bed and pee spots on the mattress, the rugs where dirty, shower was very hard to get to work. a very poor place to rent i would not recommend this to anyone. the host was not very helpful i sending this to the owners i feel i should get some kind of a refund
We booked this property for our honeymoon and were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. When we arrived, the house had a strong musty odor that was noticeable right away. We also found dried urine stains in the carpet that the host later admitted had been there for months. We also found mouse droppings inside one of the cabinets and ants in the bathroom, which raised concerns about the cleanliness of the property.Another disappointment was that the listing photos do not accurately reflect the current condition of the home. The property appears much nicer in the photos than it does in person, and we felt the listing was outdated. While the location may work for some travelers, we left immediately and did not stay. We hope the host addresses the cleanliness, pest issues, carpet replacement, and updates the listing photos so future guests know what to expect.

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
The location was great. The deck was very relaxing especially listening to the creek down below the cabin. The decor inside the cabin was nice, especially the log bed frames. Our biggest issue was the cleanliness. Yes, the floors were fine, the sinks and toilet were clean, and the bedding was fine but without AC we had to open the windows in every room and there were many dead flies in the windows once opened. The flooring in the bathroom was messed up and the bathroom rug could have used a wash or even better a replacement. There were also dead, what looked like mosquitos, on the bathroom ceiling. Very much a put off for us. Kitchenware and silverware could have been better cleaned as well prior to having new guests. We have two rentals ourselves and wouldn't have guests come stay in the same condition. Sorry to say but we will not be returning.

Clean and nice place that was close to where we wanted to be. Transaction went smoothly.
My fiancé and I loved it! It was welcoming, clean in the most perfect location it had all the amenities we were looking for, dog friendly which is always a plus! We home to stay again soon
It was another great stay! This was our second time staying here, and just as great as the first! Was a little bummed the propane wasn’t filled in the BBQ and there wasn’t much for fire wood. Other than that, I’d was perfect!
This was an awesome cabin, the porch with the creek so close is fantastic, host was so nice and so helpful. We cant wait to stay again!!!! I would give more stars if i could, everything about this place was perfect.
Great location to the lake. This was exactly what we had in mind for a family vacation. Dogs are welcome and enjoyed the creek out back. We will be back.
Creekside cottage was comfy and cozy for our family vacation. Convenient location for visiting lake for boating and fishing.

About the host
Hosted by Ashley Hoffer
Hi! We’re the Hoffer’s, and we’re so glad you’re considering staying at Creekside Cabin.
We’re an Idaho family who loves spending time outdoors and making memories together. Whether we’re swimming and paddle boarding on the lake, riding the mountain trails, snowmobiling in the winter, sitting around a campfire, or simply enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee on the deck, Cascade has always been one of our favorite places to escape the busyness of everyday life.
Creekside Cabin has been our family’s home away from home for years. It’s where we’ve celebrated holidays, watched our kids explore the outdoors, laughed around the fire, and created memories we’ll treasure forever. Sharing our cabin gives us the opportunity to help other families and friends create those same kinds of moments.
As hosts, our goal is to provide a comfortable, welcoming place where you can relax, unplug, and enjoy everything this beautiful mountain community has to offer. While the cabin has a cozy, rustic charm and isn’t a luxury resort, we take pride in keeping it clean, well-stocked, and ready for your stay.
We know that every vacation is important, whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, an outdoor adventure, or simply some peace and quiet. That’s why we’re always happy to answer questions, offer local recommendations, or help if anything comes up during your visit.
Thank you for choosing Creekside Cabin. We hope you’ll fall in love with Cascade just as we did and leave with wonderful memories that bring you back again and again.
Why they chose this property
One of the things we love most about this neighborhood is its history and character. Originally developed in the 1970s as a small mountain cabin community, many of the cabins were built from the same original design. Over the years, each owner has made their own updates and improvements, giving the neighborhood a unique mix of rustic charm and personality while preserving its nostalgic feel.
Surrounded by towering pines and a peaceful creek, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy mountain life. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and feels tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet you’re only minutes from downtown Cascade, Lake Cascade, hiking trails, boat launches, and endless year-round recreation.
Cascade itself has a rich history. One of the area’s most interesting stories is the original town of Van Wyck, which now rests beneath the waters of Lake Cascade after the construction of Cascade Dam. It’s a fascinating piece of local history that adds to the character of this beautiful mountain town.
Because you’re staying in the mountains, wildlife is simply part of the experience. You may see a variety of birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and other native wildlife during your stay. We encourage guests to enjoy nature, respect the local wildlife, and help keep the area beautiful for everyone.
For us, this little mountain community is the perfect balance of peace, history, and adventure. Whether you’re here to explore the outdoors or simply relax by the creek, we hope you’ll fall in love with it just as we have.
What makes this property unique
Creekside Cabin offers something that’s hard to find in this neighborhood—it’s one of the cabins that sits right alongside the creek. While many nearby cabins are tucked among the trees, being so close to the water creates a peaceful atmosphere that’s become our favorite part of staying here.
One of our favorite traditions is opening the bedroom windows at night and falling asleep to the gentle sound of the creek flowing just outside. In the morning, you can enjoy your coffee on the deck while listening to the water and taking in the fresh mountain air. It’s the kind of simple experience that helps you slow down, relax, and truly disconnect from the stresses of everyday life.
The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable, and designed for making memories. Gather around the wood-burning stove on cool evenings, cook meals together in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy a BBQ on the deck, or unwind around the fire pit after a day of hiking, boating, fishing, ATV riding, or snowmobiling.
Although the cabin has been thoughtfully updated with conveniences like fast Starlink Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, we’ve worked hard to preserve the cozy mountain cabin feel that makes it such a special place to escape.
For us, what truly sets Creekside Cabin apart isn’t just the location—it’s the feeling. The sound of the creek, the towering pines, the peaceful setting, and the chance to reconnect with family, friends, and nature create an experience we look forward to every time we visit. We hope you’ll make memories here that keep bringing you back, just as they have for us.
