Casa da Galinhola is a project born from the need to show people the beauty and diversity they can find in the interior of Portugal.
This local accommodation is punctuated by its picturesque style, which reminds us of our memory for the home of our grandparents and for the diversity of traditional Portuguese products.
Not neglecting the current lifestyle and the search for an increasingly healthy lifestyle and in turn the need to relax this also have a magnificent garden and swimming pool, from where we can contemplate the beautiful view on the surrounding hills And on the Tagus River.
Located in the municipality of Mação, Ortiga parish, this accommodation is next to one of the best points of access to the interior to A23. Meeting like this at about 1:30 a.m. from Lisbon.
It is also punctuated by an excellent and diversified surrounding area, where we can find sites such as river beaches, belvederes, aqueducts, caves, walkways, castles and so on.

Lovely getaway

This property is a unique find. Its set in a small village in beautiful contryside but close to a motorway. Lovely spacious exterior with 3 seating areas, BBQ and pool. Interior is very quaint with many curiosities and knicknacks. Its spotlessly clean and has lovely linens. Orlando was a lovely host. We communicated a lot via google translate but it was very clear how warm and welcoming he was. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and would love to return.

Deixo desde já os parabéns aos proprietários, pela recepção, pela simpatia e hospitalidade . Uma casa muito pacata, mesmo num monte e isolada de barulhos. Muito acolhedora e familiar. Para quem mora na cidade, este sítio é excelente para descansar e carregar baterias. Também é de realçar a sua localização, pois fica bem situada, tendo muitos spots para visitar, tais como, praias fluviais, museus, castelos e restaurantes, onde se pode apreciar vários peixes de rio. Foi uma experiência fantástica e desejo repetir por muitas mais vezes. Obrigada!
