Our apartment with balcony and see view was really...
Our apartment with balcony and see view was really pleasant, the owners were kind and helpful, and Tsrtenik bay is a really wonderful place, dominated by locals and Croatian visitors. Just wonderful for someone seeking a quiet resort.
We had only one problem: it seems that Trstenik's sewage is removed by a ship, which pumps the wastewater from a tank to the ship using a diesel engine. The process lasted for 3 days so we had to bear the noise every afternoon, evenening and early morning. People who prefer sleesping behing closed door/window will not be disturbed, however.
I only mention that Trstenik had a wildfire in 2015, which destroyed a large part of the wood around the village. It's a fait accompli, one has to wait a decade before the wood recovers. The surrounding are nice even so.
