Fantastic find

Everything went smoothly. The villa was perfect for us (great pool and chill out area) and the location brilliant (5 mins from a supermarket and 10 to Palma). . Our host Antonio was on hand whenever we had a question and Catalina and Bernat were adorable. Would definitely recommend.

My mother recognised me to be jealous every morning when I sent her every video you sent me feeding the donkeys and watching how well you were enjoying (and the donkeys too!) And my brother and me felt very pleased and happy when we saw how worried you were about the limp foot of Catalina... Now She is nice, fortunately It was only a scare... Hope to see you again!! The MOST AMAZING FINCA

We had fantastic 8 days vacation in the beautiful Catalina Finca. The house was clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed and even more. Martin was always very friendly and whenever we had questions he was there to help us. The donkey is a highlight and the children (2,3,9 years old) loved her! You definitely need a car to get there. It is well connected with the Palma city Centre. I am sure we will com back to this place!! Saludos desde Berlino! The BIG International Family

Beautiful Property!!

We have just returned from a week staying at this beautiful villa, the setting is so peaceful and relaxing. We could not find fault in the villa or the service we received, there was a small incident where the water went off but we called the owner and within 15 mins Jose arrived and sorted it out. The property is very well maintained both inside and the outside area. One of the highlights for the little ones was feeding Catalina (the resident donkey) every morning and afternoon. We would definitely recommend this property, however you do need a car as there aren't any bars or restaurants within walking distance. There are a couple of supermarkets, a smaller one is approx 5 mins down the road and then the larger supermarket is about 10mins approx, both by car. Our only complaint is that our week went by far too quickly and we wished we had stayed for two weeks!!

Your children did a good job feeding her! Tell one of the "big boys" that finally the teeth of Catalina are growing again, aren't broken! Erholsame Ferien in der Finca Catalina

Die Finca Catalina ist eine Oase nur 10 Minuten fahrt von Palma entfernt. Sie hat alles was man benötigt um sich wohl zu fühlen. Wir waren im August dort und haben den Salzwasserpool sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mit den Eseln (Mutter und Sohn) haben wir in den zwei Wochen, die wir dort waren, eine freundschaftliche Beziehung entwickelt. Sie sind so liebenswürdig! Wir werden sicher wiederkommen!

sehr schöne Fica mit fantastischem Pool

Sehr freundliche Vermieter, die jederzeit erreichbar sind. Ein wunderschöner Pool, sehr angenehm mit Salzwasser. Schöner Blick bis zum Meer. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig uns sehr sauber. Die Küche ist schön gross, so dass auch mehrere Personen werkeln können. Das Grundstück ist sehr gross, es gibt viele Möglichkeiten zu verweilen. Auf den Liegen am Pool, am Esstisch draussen, in der schönen Lounge,.... Der Supermarkt (mercadonna) ist zu Fuß 25 Minuten entfernt, Wander und Joggingstrecken (trail) auch in 15 minuten zu erreichen. ( neben dem Golfplatz) Auto ist sicherlich besser, da man eine kurze Strecke auf der Landstraße laufen muss, ohne Gehweg.Wir hatten nur räder.

Great house close to Palma with everything you want. Great pool and outdoor area. 10 min to Palma city and 5-7 min to big supermarkets. No disturbing noices from the neigbors so you feel very much alone. Looking forward to book again!!

We all had a lovely time at this Villa and is only about a 10 minute drive to the centre of Palma and 5 minutes to the nearest big supermarket, the owner was very helpful through out our stay. Will definitely come back here!

Ruhige Lage, gute Anbindungen

Die Finke ist nördlich von Palma gelegen. Mit dem Auto erreicht man alles einfach und schnell. Zu Fuß kommt man nicht so gut weg, da die Strassen in diesem Bereich alle schmal und ohne Gehweg sind. Die Finka ist einfach und rustikal eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Wenn etwas fehlt oder sonstige Fragen auftreten ist Martin sehr helfsbereit und kümmert sich zeitnah. Der Pool wird mit Salz und wenig Chlor gereinigt. War top so. Schöne Finka um gemeinsame Aktivitäten von hier aus zu starten und Abends gemütlich bei sammen zu sitzen.

Wunderschöne Ferien:)

Wir waren zu dritt auf diesem schönen Anwesen und haben dort drei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zu Hause, da alles vorhanden ist, was man braucht. Martin ist ein toller Gastgeber, immer freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Wenn mal etwas ausgeht oder fehlt, besorgt es Martin umgehend , einfach ein klasse Service! Die Finca selbst ist sogar im Hochsommer innen angenehm, da die Wände knapp einen Meter dick sind. Zusätzlich gibt es zwei Klimaanlagen, eine im Wohnzimmer, die im gesamten Hauptbereich ein angenehmes Wohnklima herstellt. Eine weitere Klimaanlage ist in einem der vier Schlafzimmer vorhanden. Es gab Handtücher im Überfluß, auch welche für den Poolbereich. Die Küche ist sehr geräumig und dadurch, dass der Herd zwei Induktionsplatten besitzt, kann man wunderbar zügig Essen kochen. Am meisten werden wir allerdings den Außenbereich mit dem tollen Pool, den vielen Liegen und dem großen Loungebereich vermissen. Man schaut von dort aus über Palma hinunter und sieht in der Ferne das Meer, das man in nur ca. 10-15 Minuten Fahrt erreicht. Die Finca liegt zentral im Rücken oberhalb von Palma und man kann entweder um Palma links herum Richtung Platja de Palma (Can Pastilla) fahren oder rechts herum in den Südwesten der Insel (Richtung Andratx), um wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge zu erleben. Was wir ebenfalls als sehr angenehm empfunden haben ist die Größe und Uneinsehbarkeit des Grundstücks, und das die nächsten Nachbarn einem nicht direkt am Grundstückszaun kleben, was bei den meisten anderen Häusern auf der Insel der Fall ist. Da man auf dem Land lebt, hört man morgens (allerdings erst zu einer humanen Zeit gegen 07:30/08 Uhr) den ein oder anderen Hahn krähen. Manchmal veranstalten die Zikaden ein kostenloses Gratiskonzert, das wir aber sehr genossen haben. Alles in allem hatten wir eine schöne Zeit und können das Haus sehr empfehlen.

PERFECT !!!

We rented Martin's finca for 3 weeks and stayed there with my husband, our two teenagers, my father and our three godchildren. The house is impeccable, practical, very well equipped and the pool is simply fabulous. Martin is adorable, he advised us on our outings, pampered us (bringing us local specialties) and helped us a lot when we had to take my dad to the hospital. We had an excellent stay and we can only warmly recommend this rental. Thanks again Martin!

Wonderful time

We stayed for the second time in the beautiful and stylish house Catalina. Our expectations have been completely fulfilled. The house and property with pool were clean and well maintained, the location ideal. The sweet donkey lady Catalina provided a change and we spoiled her every day with carrots. Herrliche Tage in schönem Ferienhaus

Wir haben das Haus mit 5 Erwachsenen und 1 Kleinkind genutzt. Es gab für uns alle ausreichend Platz , sowohl im Haus als auch im weitläufigen Gelände. Dort gibt es mehrere Bereiche zum Relaxen und viele Liegen am schönen Pool.Der Vermieter ist ungemein hilfsbereit, man kann sich jederzeit an ihn wenden mit Fragen oder Wünschen-vielen Dank , Martin! Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und in der Küche ist absolut alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Schön ist auch die Lage, ruhig und dennoch so nah an Palma, dass man Ruhe und Entspannung sowie die Annehmlichkeiten der Stadt gleichermaßen genießen kann. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Haus Catalina.

Das Catalina Haus wird uns in bester Erinnerung bleiben. Martin ( Sohn der Inhaberin ) war der perfekte Gastgeber und super charmant und im Bedarfsfall in 10 Minuten da. Das Haus hat eine tolle Atmosphäre und Esel Catalina ist eine vergnügliche Bereicherung. Alle Bereiche im Haus picobello sauber und sehr ansprechend. Endlich mal eine große und bestens ausgestattete Küche. Der Außenbereich weitläufig und mit großem Panoramablick über Palma. Mit dem Auto nach Palma sehr einfach und unkompliziert in 14 Minuten zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit in eurem Haus.

6 adults and a baby. We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and was very clean when we arrived. They also had a little bathrobe for the baby and baby bed with comforter. Kitchen is very good and the bbq outside was wonderful. We mostly stayed at the property, because no need to go anywhere. Martin was very helpfull and a very nice guy. It´s important to buy carrots for the donkey. Donkey is very cute and very nice to talk with her. :-) We will diffidently go back in one year. Beats all the pretty hotels!! -Matias, Finland

Perfect villa and perfect location

We stayed for one week at Martin's house which is located abou 10 minutes from Palma by car. The house is big and comfortable. It has everything you need to make your stay perfect. The garden and swimming pool are incredible! Big swimming pool with a patio ideal to prepare a barbecue and have dinner. I strongly recommend this place. Martin was kind and gave us really good tips about what to do in the island. Thank you very much!

Fantastic villa ideal for groups of friends or families

Just Spent a lovely week at the villa with a group of friends, the villa is very well equipped and the pool and outside seating areas are a real bonus. Located not far from Palma with easy access to the entire island it’s an excellent base but you really do need a car unless of course you just want to stay there and totally chill out. Catalina the donkey is very sweet and is a nice addition to this beautiful villa. Amazing and felt safe there plus large salt water pool!

Owner Martin had great communication with us, when we arrived he met us promptly. Using Whats app to stay in contact was great! Its a lovely peaceful Villa in quiet area yet easy access to such as Palma Palma Nova etc using our hire vehicle. The large salt water pool was great and the shaded seating was most enjoyable and relaxing! We felt safe there with the security gate at the entrance and in the home with a good strong door and grills on windows. Loved Catalina who loves treats from anyone! Maybe a welcome pack would be nice on arrival! and fans in the bedrooms with no air con in them! Maybe a safe for personal belongings! We would stay here again and recommend it to everyone looking for a lovely place to stay in that area. One of the best we have stayed in! Martin met us in plenty time when we were leaving to hand back the security deposit as we wanted to leave really early in the morning but he was there as promised!

Very nice house! Big and private property, with beautiful plantings, and a nice saltwater pool. Some view towards Palma and mountains. Clean and tidy. Very nice owner (and donkey :-). Family friendly, with both baby chairs and cots. AC in living room and main bedroom - no problem with heat even in july. If you miss anything, the owner fix it immediately. East to get to and from airport by car, big grosery store 6 mins with car.

Wonderful vacation

We spent two wonderful weeks in this typical mallorcan house. We were greeted by the landlord in a very friendly way. Whenever we had a question he was reachable by cell phone or whatsapp, that made it very easy. He also recommended where to go on the island, for example restaurants, beaches and supermarkets. The house is beautiful and the whole area around the house well-tended. We somehow felt like in our own house and on some days, we did not even go out because we just enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere. It was very close to Palma though, like about 15 minutes by car. The two highlights were definitely the big clean pool and the donkey named Catalina, who lives right behind the house! She is the funniest and cutest donkey we have ever seen, and it was a pleasure to have her near to us.This was not the last time at Martins house!

Very nice, quiet finca close to Palma

We enjoyed our holydays in this finca very, very much. It was so nice and comfortable and although we felt, like being in the quiet of the countryside the closeness to Palma was useful. We will come back. Kerstin
