Dine al fresco under the expansive 2,000 sq. ft. dining/living gazebo overlooking the pool and gardens, enjoying fresh tropical fruits and local flavors. Indoors, vaulted ceilings and oversized furniture create a spacious, inviting living room, complete with interior/exterior sound systems, a 70" HD TV, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Amazing villa and resort

I would highly recommend this villa and resort to any family looking for a comfortable and relaxing vacation spot. The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing. Wonderful stay!

A Fantastic house for spending time with family and friends

As a seasoned traveler that also rents homes I can tell you that this house meets all expectations. A great open feel, very clean, great staff and close to the beach and harbor. I will definitely rent again.

We had a great stay at the villa. It was beautifully designed and decorated. The location was also very convenient, very close to the beach, just 5-7 min walk. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We stayed at the Casa De Campo a few times before, at much larger villas, but this villa was just perfect size for our family, very spacious and cozy at the same time. We will gladly return back and recommencement the villa to our friends.

I would give our experience a 5-star. The pictures on line of the home are exactly what you can expect. The communication with the property manager was effortless and courteous. Excellent vacation villa

Villa was as advertised, beautifully decorated, and clean. Everything in the property was in working order. Plenty of hot water and shower pressure. Property is perfect for large groups, especially families with children. Outdoor space was very private and felt like there wasn't another house for miles. Mercedes and Flora were very caring and hospitable. Golf carts were ready for us at the villa and passes were setup ahead of time to allow for entry into Casa de Campo.

Everything was perfect

We're spoiled. We've stayed at the villa for several years. Everything works, wifi, air conditioning, TVs, stereo, hot tub. Edie and Mercedes couldn't be nicer and more accomodating. We play two rounds per day. They are happy to come in early to make breakfast or stay late and make dinner. We'll be back again next year.

Excellent villa for groups and families!

My experience at Los Lagos 72 was impeccable. The villa is every bit as advertised. I stayed there with my family and my children had a wonderful time. My wife told me it was a magnificent experience. Rita is very responsive and handles inquiries timely and accurately. The staff is superb. They make you feel at home. I recommend this property to anyone looking to have a truly great experience. The villa is a short walk from Minitas Beach. Oh boy, that beach is beautiful. There is a bar and a pool and the beach is from out of this world!

Amazing Vacation

We have been to Casa De Campo 5 times and we had another amazing experience this time. Our house was perfect! The stafff was awesome! They were so nice and friendly! Angela, the chef, was an incredible cook! The location was perfect! Our golf carts were already there upon arrival. Rita, was easy to get ahold of and timely in all her responses. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub worked perfect! We were with our children and the bedrooms were a perfect set up for us! Cribs were already set up upon arrival. It was really just perfect and I would stay there again.

"Wow Wow Wow! This is the perfect Villa for any occasion. We have spent two Thanksgivings in this gorgeous villa with our families and we just returned from an amazing girls weekend. The house defines perfection! The layout is spacious with nice sized bedrooms. The garden, cabanas and pool provide the ultimate getaway with lots of privacy. The staff is also amazing. You will fall in love with them and this Villa! The villa is situated near the beach which is another reason we love this place. After three stays we haven't had one complaint. We rent 4/5 vacation homes a year and this is everybody's favorite by far! Spectacular golf, top notch resort accommodations and great restaurants... This is a true gem and we plan on returning very soon"

Beautiful home...great staff!

This was my first time booking through HomeAway. I must admit, I was a little worried whether the accommodations would meet my family’s expectations. My concerns were completely unwarranted! The home and grounds are beautiful, and the staff were extremely attentive to our needs. Our party included my husband and I; our eighteen-year-old daughter and her friend, and our two older children and their significant others. Los Lagos met our group’s needs perfectly. Linda and Rita were both very helpful as we prepared for our trip. Flora, Mercedes, and Ramon took good care of us during our stay. There were no unexpected surprises. A great time was had by all! Love this place!

Perfect family getaway

Just returned from a week stay at Los Lagos. This was our first time renting from home away and we were concerned that the villa would not live up to our expectations. The villa was exactly as pictured and could have easily accommodated two families. Flora and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and were more than willing to accommodate our dietary requests. I have to give a heartfelt thanks to Rita. I emailed her daily with various requests . Every email was returned within an hour and she was always extraordinarily patient . We had some extremely minor issues in the Villa ( a light fixture was in operable and one of the TVs was not working ). Rita had them repaired within an hour . The staff does an exceptional job of making sure that the Villa is immaculate. Can’t recommend the Villa highly enough!

Elegant, rustic, very comfortable villa with smart distribution of space located in the centric, well manicured Los Lagos area, close to Minitas Beach and the Marina with all its amenities. Perfect for large families or groups, there are 5 bedrooms (one with independent entry) and 5 full bathrooms, plus an extra 1/2 bath in one of the two outside gazebos by the pool. Kitchen is a bit old but clean, well stocked and well managed by Flora, the efficient and knowledgeable cook who delighted us with fresh fruit and local specialties for breakfast and French toast for our kids. She is also available at an extra charge for babysitting services or overtime. Don Ramon, who cares for the pool, hot tub, bbq and outside service was a sweetheart! Our property manager, Rita, always made herself available to answer questions, solve problems and welcome us and is both warm and professional. The check in process at Casa de Campo was seamless and the villa is very much “plug and play”. Be warned: there are a lot of mosquitoes in the DR and you should definitely pay the extra for turning on living room A/C, but that's the Caribbean. Recommended! Hope to return.

Mother Daughter Spring Break

Perfect week! We felt like we were in Paradise! We could not have asked for a more beautiful home, pool, yard and surroundings! The house was perfect for 5 couples of mothers and daughters. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The home was decorated beautifully! I could have moved right in! It was comfortable. We especially loved the extra long white sofa! The pavilion in the back yard was our favorite spot. We would meet there in the morning for coffee then when everyone was awake our incredible staff Edy and Mercedes would serve us breakfast out there. Heaven. We did not want to leave! We would set our time for lunch each morning and they would serve us lunch out there too. The property manager, Rita, took care of our every need. She got us groceries for when we arrived. She booked a fabulous catamaran for the day called "No Worries" plus answered every question we ever had. I would highly recommend this home again and again. I want to take my husband back for sure and recommend it to anyone. I fell in love with Casa de Campo and the DR. Go!

Beautiful! Great for kids

The house is as beautiful if not more than the pictures convey. It's about a 10 minute walk to the beach out of the back yard. Golf cart was very much preferred! We loved that every room had their own en suite bathroom. Very private. Our kids (2 and 5) loved to swim in the hot tub (without heating it). They could stand up and swim easily in it. I was a bit nervous about having pools in the backyard without a fence, but the doors to the outside are very heavy and can be bolted shut. Flora (the cook) was amazing. Always accommodating to our schedule--early breakfasts, packing lunch for us to go, etc. She did all the shopping and meal planning. It was perfect. Mercedes and Sara (housekeeping) were also wonderful. Very professional and hardworking. Ramon was very kind and hard working. Rita was always available via phone/email and kept contact with us to make sure everything was ok. Bring insect repellant! The mosquitos are tiny and terrible no matter the time of day! Also, the main area does get quite warm even in the evenings (stayed 1st week of Aug.) If we ever come back to Casa de Campo, we wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Amazing vacation with excellent staff

The vacation in DR was amazing from the moment we walked into the villa! Beautiful decor with french doors opening to a gorgeous large garden and pool! We had our four children and their spouses with their children (total ten adults with four babies three and under). Great house for everyone with plenty of room to relax, read or listen to music on the system that play inside and out in the amazing backyard. The kids had a large grassy area to play ball (some toys are at the villa) or just run around! They loved the pool (again with toys) and called the spa the little warm pool which was a big hit! The house is all on one level which was very convenient with small children and the staff was the best part of the villa! They loved the children and went out of their way to accommodate them. The food was delicious and Edy and Mercedes started our day with smiling faces and a warm buenos dias. Breakfast was served each morning and the variety of food was a site to see! A array of fresh fruits and different eggs each day and always pancakes for the babies. I suggest shopping at the supermercado (Jumbo) outside Casa de Campo because the selection is better but the market in the complex will do if you are unable to. I brought Edy with me the first day and it was quite the experience which was fun. I gave her the option of cooking typical Dominican food and believe me, you won't go wrong. Delicious!!!! Everything was always taken care of by the staff from the pool and gardens by Ramon to the meal planning and cleaning by Edy and Mercedes. Wonderful people who went beyond the call of duty! We took photos with all of them and I cried when I left! They provided me with a real vacation with no cleaning or cooking which was a real treat! The location is great since it is very close to the beach and there is a nice restaurant which is kid friendly. We went out to dinner a few times but the best dinners were served at the villa by the staff. We were able to get around the whole complex on golf carts so a car rental is not necessary. All in all, a fabulous place to visit, beautiful reasonably priced villa and wonderful staff. We loved the villa and the little ones have told their parents that they want to go stay at the house with the warm weather and palm trees; why do we live here in the snow, they asked?! I would definitely recommend this villa to friends and family and it's a great place to see and enjoy the beauty of the complex.

Pure Bliss and Relaxation!

Where do I begin... I could say so much but there aren't enough characters in this review for me to use. So I will make this simple. Pros: -you always had open communication with Linda during the beginning stages of booking. The same went for Rita once we were on the property. TIP: we didn't have international service on our cell phones but we communicated through the Whatsapp in connection with the Wi-Fi provided at the villa. You also have the villa landline. -due to delays on our flights because weather, we missed out connecting flights into La Romana Airport. Because of this we didn't arrive until midnight. The staff was still up, waiting for us with a full meal and so much love and understanding. Rita made sure we were taken care of and so did the staff. -Flora(cook) impressed all of us with her cooking. Mercedes and Sarah(housekeeping) gave us a nice presentation at our meals w/table arrangements, our beds always being made in the morning as we ate breakfast and Ramon (groundskeeper) always had the pool and outside cleaned and well maintained to start our day. Everyone was super helpful with anything we needed or wanted to know. -the villa itself was perfect. We had 4 kids under 6 and 5 adults. We all had our own space and when in the main areas, we never felt like we were trying to get around each other. Very spacious. OPEN is the big word here as the doors and windows were 95% of the time open, letting in a nice breeze. Cons: -I am human and this world now a days has put distrust in us. I proceeded with caution and thought we could have been scammed. With that being said, my only con was my overthinking. Because Linda never once made us feel that way. She was reassuring (even during the VRBO hack), very informative and always a call or email away. Take it from someone who over analyzes everything, this place is legit. We are already planning our next trip at this very villa for next year (and possibly years to come). -the day before we had to leave, we all realized our family trip was coming to an end. We wanted to just stay forever and live here. Flora, Mercedes, Sarah, Ramon, Rita and Linda most def made this a hard goodbye. We took a group photo with our drone w/the villa in the background if that's any sign on how hard it was to say goodbye but how we never wanted to forget this week. ...characters are limited so with that I say....GRACIAS POR TODO!!! HASTA LUEGO!!!

Great experience

Los Lagos 72 was a great stay! We rented the property for five nights and could not be more satisfied with the service the house staff provided. They were humble, kind, attentive-simply wonderful people. The food was amazing and we can't wait to go back!

Why they chose this property

Casa de Campo is a secure, gated golf course community of 2,000 homes with more than 30 shops, 15 restaurants, a movie theater and many fun things to do both during the day and at night no matter what your interests are. We chose this particular Villa because of its convenient location on a quiet and private street, and it's one of the few Villas in the resort that is only a short walk to the private Punta Minitas beach. We especially liked the large and private lot that has been landscaped with many varieties of colorful, tropical plants.

What makes this property unique

We rebuilt the villa in 2009 and added a huge outdoor gazebo that has become our living and dining room. Our pool and jacuzzi are larger than most and very private. We are proud that our full time staff have been with us for several years. They are warm and wonderful people who always make everyone feel at home. The Villa is nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and well equipped.
