BAD First Impression
Although we worked through communication issues at first to get into the property, the first thing we see at the entrance (down an alley) are several large garbage cans overflowing with what looks like weeks of garbage within 2 feet of the front door. The VRBO photo shows a table set nicely with wine glasses etc and there was one wine glass and 2 coffee mugs for our group of 7. Only one towel for each person (no hand towels, kitchen towels to be found). Lucky if your bedroom had a side table on each side of the bed, but only a few rooms even had a lamp (overhead lighting was your only light). Sofa and chairs look comfy in photo but are so old, the cushions are flat. Host did work hard to communicate and did bring a few more mugs and removed half (not all) garbage so we still had to enter each time to an unpleasant sight.
Having stayed at many other places in Ireland that did so much more with limited space etc, this place could be a gem with more attention to details for their guests.
