We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests to Killeen House for many years and look forward to creating many more memorable stays.
Built in 1837, Killeen House is set on 25 acres of private gardens and grounds, offering a peaceful and luxurious retreat just 15 minutes' drive from Galway City. One of our scenic walkways leads to the historic Galway–Clifden railway line, adding a unique touch of local history to your stay.

Other things to note
We recommend having a car during your stay, as there is no public transport nearby and the main road is not suitable for walking. It makes exploring the area and enjoying day trips much easier.
If you are considering having an external service such as caterers or photographers onsite during your stay, please consult with us in advance, as we have specific guidelines around this.
