At half-coast, above Orta, in Vacciago, a quiet 17th century village with its walks, its glimpses and its attractions such as the Calderara Foundation.

hübsches kleines Ferienhäuschen
Das Häuschen liegt ruhig in einem privaten Park, unter einem Baum, mit Blick auf den See und das Städtchen Orta San Giulio (dort Restaurants, Geschäfte, Bootsverleihe), die man beide zu Fuss erreichen kann (etwa 25 min). Direkt in dem kleinen Ort, in dem das Haus ist, gibt es auch ein kleines Geschäft, ein Café mit Wlan (kein WLan im Ferienhaus) und ein kleines Kunstmuseum. Alles andere ist per Auto zu erreichen (Supermärkte usw). Der Besitzer war bei der Ankunft anwesend und hat uns gut beraten. Alles ist niedlich und sauber. Hier jetzt zwei Probleme: durch die grosse Buche über dem Haus gibt es viele Mücken, gegen die man sich schützen muss. Die Mezzanine, die in der Beschreibung und auf den Photos benutzbar aussieht, ist es in Wirklichkeit nicht; das Bett ist ein Schlafsofa im Wohnbereich und nicht auf der Mezzanine. Bei dem Versuch, mit der ungesicherten Leiter auf die Mezzanine zu klettern, ist mein Freund ziemlich übel gestürzt. Der Besitzer hat uns dann gesagt, dass die Mezzanine ja auch nicht zugänglich ist, aber das wurde vorher nicht gesagt. Das hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, zudem das Schlafsofa nicht wahnsinnig bequem war.

Grazie per la vostra visita, mi dispiace che il divano letto nn sia stato per voi comodo, quanto al mezzanino la scala era stata tolta proprio per nn permetterne l'accesso, nella descrizione si diceva eventualmente il terzo letto è nel mezzanino, provvedero a mettere un apposito cartello Privato, anche se la scala asportata ed nn raggiungibile se nn salendo su una panca è gia un segnale molto evidente di divieto di accesso.
