David could not have made our stay more pleasant. From the booking process to our departure. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Location was the best, literally a few minutes walk from the old town. Great stay, thank you David.

Many thanks for your kind commendations Tony. Much appreciated. Thanks.
Accurately described and pleasant. Lots of hot water, towels. Great location, easy walk to old city and tram to beach. Consum coop grocery close by as was a gym where you could pay per use. Excellent pizza on the street. Highly recommended
This is a lovely, bright apartment, close to everything. You can walk to the old city, bike the nearby park and take one bus to get to the beach. We loved our time in Valencia! David was a great host, easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!
The location of this charming flat is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere. And it's a bright, sunny place with interesting features. The neighbours are quiet, and the street has just the right amount of bustle.
Top accommodation. 100% recommendation. Very good contact with the landlord. Accommodation has everything you need. Well located, just a few minutes to the city center, public transport and shopping. If we come back to Valencia, we will definitely book this accommodation from David again. Thank you for everything

Many thanks Christoph for your kind appreciations. It was a pleasure meeting up with you & hosting you.
Sunny, breezy studio with lots of light. Kitchen equipped for cooking. Convenient location walking distance to the centro, bus and tram stops close by. Easy check in and out. Some street noise but where isn't there street noise in Spain?

Great location- Nicely Appointed
The apartment is located just a few minutes from one of the Medieval Gates to the old city. Near two supermarkets, multiple green grocers and bakeries. Restaurants are further but when actually open, not too far. Many of the attractions are within easy walking distance. Dave is helpful and easy to deal with. Only minus is the stairway is narrow and twisty.

Thanks Patrick for your kind commendations. Mondays many bars & restaurants invariably take a break from the busy weekends, so it can be a little confusing as to their exact location, particularly when they've dropped all their shutters. The nearby excellent value & convenient Lidl was unfortunately closed during your stay, as they are expanding & modernising - re-opens 27 Jan 2016.
The communal hallway is currently undergoing major reforms i.e; replacement stone steps & new windows; as is the entire building's exterior, which should further improve future guests comforts. The building will retain most of its quirky features which really is part of its charm...

What you see on the site is what you get. What is advertized is also what you get. So all our needs were provided.
Thanks to Malcom who received us on our arrival, the meeting was friendly and all the useful information for our stay was clearly transmitted.
I stayed here for one week. Everything is as pictured. Walking distance to old town. There is a bus stop right in front of the building. Three blocks from the Sagunt Tram stop. The apartment is well stocked. Very clean. It is a studio apartment, which is great for a solo traveler or couple. There is several restaurants and grocery stores within the area. David the host is excellent with communication via whatsapp. Valencia is a beautiful city with tons to offer. I hated to leave. Thanks David.
Only stay here if you want to be yelled at by the owner. The owner yelled at us because the Taxi from the train station dropped us off a half block away. He was yelling at me on the phone and kept yelling from the minute we saw him. I have never been treated that way by any owner and we have travelled 47 countries. We did not stay due to feeling threaten by this man.

Great spot for Las Fallas
We rented this place so that we could attend Las Fallas. It could not have been a better location. Just a five minute walk to the old town and the main festivities, it also had its own fallas, right outside the apartment. Also near the apartment are plenty of mercados so getting supplies is simple. One thing to note however, is some mercados close early (by north american standards) especially on Sundays. However, the Carrefours are always open and there is one about 10 minutes walk away.
The apartment itself is a tiny bachelor flat but it is roomy enough for two and as it is on a corner there is plenty of light flowing in from the windows (there are inside doors to block the light out at night). The kitchen has everything you could need with three different styles of coffee making options - drip, french press or espresso. There is a full sized fridge and a 4 burner stove top and a good array of pots and utensils.
The bathroom is not big but has a shower that works just fine. One suggestion to the owner would be a couple of hooks or towel racks to put wet towels on. Not really a problem as there is a drying rack in the closet which we used, just a suggestion.
David, the owner, is quite attentive and readily available when necessary.
Our only regret was that we did not have longer in Valencia. Much as Las Fallas was fun it would be great to see Valencia in a different light. If we return we would not hesitate to rent this spot again.

Dear Guests.
Thanks for feed back. Average 3/4 star hotel room both in USA & E.U- 32-34m2 & Junior suites 40m2. So 50m2 . So not quite sure constitutes 'tiny' in Euro parlance. Towel hooks I'll check as I removed some extended towel rails to free up space. Now updated. Mattress is standard 135cm wide double - Latest generation of Pikolin (Spanish premium brand) Visco-Elastic - Nov' 2017 - Bed frame now replaced March 25 2019 as slight buckle noticed in frame. Nearest Carrefour HyperMarket is in fact a 34 min walk away. Nearby 'Blue-Flag' Lidl supermarket is a mere 2 min walk & I suspect is probably one of the city's best value & with plenty of excellent fresh produce etc.

Ideal location, well equipped and maintained, comfortable
The apartment is situated 5 minutes down the road from the main city gate so it's very easy to find your way back to.
The bed is comfortable, there's a USB port in the TV so you can plug an external hard drive in and watch stored media and the stereo has audio in.
The kitchen has everything you need, and there's a lidl 5 minutes up the road for stocking up. Wine was about €2 a bottle.
My 6'2'' tall boyfriend found the shower cubicle a bit small but the water pressure is good.
Nearby to the apartment are a creperie, a bakery, a couple of cafes to get breakfast from, a shop that sells amazing cakes and fruit tarts, it's not a cake shop, I can't remember what else they sold because I was mesmerised by the cakes.....not all the local shopkeepers could speak English...
There's a local tapas restaurant called El Bocaito that does fantastic food. We had a salad with what the waiter described as little river snakes. No idea what they were but they tasted great, as did the rest of the food.
If you head away from town, take the first main right turn onto the palm tree lined road and it's about 100 yards down on the opposite side of the road.
The aquarium Oceanographic is worth a visit although there's not much change from €30 for an adult. We walked there from the apartment through the park that has been created in the old path of the river. The river was diverted some years ago as it kept flooding the city.
The tram stop for the beach is 5 minutes walk north, a return ticket was €5. The ticket machine is quite confusing and you can only pay by card.
The beach was nice, lots of it with sunbeds to hire and kiosks selling drinks. There are bars and restaurants towards the dock.
Valencia old town is beautiful, the majority of the shops and restaurants are, or seem to be independently owned, no homogenous we could be anywhere shops. There's a big shopping area with chain stores down past the train station.
I'd definitely recommend Valencia and this apartment

Dear Guest.
Many thanks for your summary of all that's best both nearby & direct short metro rides away. Actually the bono rate zone A is cracking value for 10 rides (to beach) for just over 8 euros. The languages prompt facility (English, Spanish, Valenciano etc) normally assists in making sure you get the best deal, see metrovalencia page for route planner & fares, although I have to agree sometimes they suddenly bombard you with too much info' which can be a bit confusing.
There are lots of chill-out bars chirinquitos both on Malverossa beach & onto Patacona beach which serve up delicious drinks etc with Ibizan sounds. Nearby for watersports enthusiasts surfing/paddle boarding & kite surfing hire & tuition are also now available at modest rates. I'm really pleased to hear you both had a great holiday. Best David.
Blisko sklepy i restauracje.

Valencia offers its visitors subtle & fascinating charms wrapped within its layers of history & culture. You'll find it incredible value compared to many Med' cities & Valencianos refeshingly helpful & friendly.
Why they chose this property
Unusually charming & quirky authentic - full external & communal renovations 2016 - Valenciano historic building built over 100 years ago. Solidly constructed and perfectly situated to enjoy the best of the city with utmost of ease. Large & tall fully opening French shuttered windows allow the light & fresh air to flood in & surprisingly for a city centre location offers charming & relatively peaceful verdant outlooks. Surrounded by trees and large paved seated areas.
What makes this property unique
* 300Mb Fibre for both music & films in full H.D. Unlike the city's overloaded & now unreliable ADSL especially @peak times 20.00-23.00 & weekends. *South east facing & set back from the road you'll enjoy lovely open aspects. *Metro for beach, city bike hire, supermarkets all @ 2/4 min. * Unrestricted on-street car-parking within nearby vicinity - closest proximity for Historic quarters where parking averages 25€ daily. *Excellent 'El Bocaito', nearby Asturian terraced cafe/bar & restaurant open all day 6/7 days offering FREE Wifi. * Charming 'La Hipica' open air pool set in delightful sub-tropical gardens with bar & silver service terraced restaurant - insiders guide to city - etc in Calle Jaca - just 5/7min walk.
