Villa Kalostous is a spacious, modern, and beautiful villa with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, offering accommodation for up to 4 guests. It covers an area of 80 square meters and is located in close proximity to the villages of Mesi and Agia Triada in the Rethymno area. Situated on top of a hill amidst olive groves and other plantations, the villa boasts uninterrupted and expansive views of the mountains, meadows, and the sea. It provides a haven of serenity and relaxation, far from the noise and traffic, while still being just a short walk away from a local traditional tavern and a picturesque village.

The villa features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Additionally, one of the sofas can be converted into a bed, suitable for a child. There are two modern bathrooms, one with a bathtub ensuite and another with a shower and WC adjacent to the second bedroom. The open-plan modern kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and utensils, seamlessly connected to the spacious living room with sophisticated decor.

Ample surrounding space is available for hours of relaxation on the loungers in front of the large pool or beneath the shade of the fully furnished, cozy patio/veranda. The villa also offers a barbecue area and plenty of parking spaces. The entire property is air-conditioned and equipped with modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, a washing machine, microwave, cooker, iron, fridge, and more.

The area is perfect for scenic drives or leisurely walks, and the local beach is only 5.5 km away. The lively town of Rethymno, renowned for its day and night life, is just 9 km from the villa. In addition, within a short stroll, you'll find a local traditional tavern in the charming village of Mesi.

Small but accommodating

I visit Crete often and for the first time I'm staying in two new "mini pool condo" that are springing out across the island. Each is clean, modern and offers a/c. The villa I'm reviewing is small but will accommodate 4 people (2 bdrm.) The furniture layout works against the small villa as seating and dining is clustered into tight corners. The large tv/couch location feels like sitting in the front set of a theater. My main complaint with a caveat, is the cutlery. I had a serrated knife to cut veggies and the knife blade would bend trying to cut a carrot. Caveat is I have heard guests steal nice things, but please think like a cook and offer proper cutting utensils. Beds were comfy tho mine never had bedding offered. I did not contact to request as I sleep cool. Nice big pool. Great effort overall, needs more details addressed.

Wunderschöne Villa

Die Villa liegt sehr ruhig und man benötigt definitiv ein Auto. Die Sauberkeit der Villa ist sehr vorbildlich und auch die gesamte Ausstattung. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es auch eine traumhafte Taverne “Andreas”.

Perfekter Urlaub!

Direkt bei der Ankunft waren wir begeistert. Alles entsprach 1:1 wie vom Vermieter beschrieben. Wir haben unseren Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Villa in herrlicher Lage genossen. Während unseres Aufenthalts hatte das Team vor Ort immer ein offenes Ohr falls nötig. Villa liegt zwar etwas versteckt aber dank der Koordinaten mit google maps einfach zu finden - ist als Standort markiert. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Viele Grüße an das gesamte Team! :)

Excellent séjour dans cette belle villa.

Nous avons apprécié le calme, la piscine et la situation près de Rethymnon. Il faudrait mettre une paroi au niveau de la douche car c'est un peu l'inondation après chaque douche.
