About this property
Grade 2 listed 3 bedroomed stone cottage in Dolgellau in Snowdonia National Park
Isfryn House has been very recently renovated to create a comfortable and stylish holiday home whilst still retaining the original features you would expect to find in a 250 year old listed cottage. With two double bedrooms (1 ensuite) and a single bedroom and family bathroom upstairs, there is a large double aspect lounge with wood burning stove and comfortable farmhouse style dining kitchen on the ground floor. Window seats can be found in the lounge and kitchen. A utility room with butler’s sink, washing machine and tumble dryer is at the rear of the property and there is a down stairs cloakroom. The house is pet friendly with steps leading up to an enclosed lawned garden with flower borders with further steps up to a BBQ patio area which is also a great sun trap. A big bonus for a holiday cottage in Dolgellau is the provision of off street parking for up to 2 cars.
Dolgellau is an attractive stone built town in the foothills of Cadair Idris in the south of Snowdonia National Park. Very close to the beautiful Mawddach estuary and 10 miles from the blue flag beach at Barmouth, coast, castles and a whole range of outdoor activities are all on your doorstep.
The town has a great variety of pubs and restaurants, all within easy walking distance of the cottage.

About the host
Hosted by Jonathan Peggs

We're Jan and Julie Peggs and we own and run Plas Gwyn bed and breakfast, next door to Isfryn House. We've been here since 2014, leaving behind jobs in teaching and company management to move to this beautiful part of world, to run a bed and breakfast and to spend more time on our passions of horse riding and cycling.

What makes this property unique
Off road parking and an enclosed garden is a bit of a find for a cottage in Dolgellau. It's just been fully renovated and very well equipped and is new on the holiday rental market in August 2017
