Family Friendly Condo, Rehoboth Beach, Resort Amenities

Welcome! Escape to The Peninsula with its numerous amenities and walks along gorgeous wetland vistas. The Peninsula is a 5-star, private waterfront resort for the whole family on 775 acres of coastal terrain and a short drive to Rehoboth Beach and outlet shopping!

World-class amenities include indoor and outdoor pools (adult only pool and hot tub, WAVE Pool and year round indoor pool), tennis courts, Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, state of the art fitness center, Calm-water Spa, volleyball, bocce ball, kayaking, paddle boarding, miles of walking and biking trails with observation decks. There are also 2 sandy beaches on the bay and crabbing and fishing piers.

Our spacious condo has 3 Bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 (6 adults max), but can also comfortably accommodate a 4 some for a golf trip. 2 rooms have a queen bed, 1 room (den converted to sleeping area with 2 twins, comfortable couch and fold-out futon for additional sleeping space. 2.5 Bathrooms, Laundry Room, kitchen bar, and flat screen TV. Partial balcony view of golf course and water. Fully equipped kitchen for meal sharing nights or dine al fresco at the grille or clubhouse.

Please note the Peninsula Community Assocation charges a weekly amenity pass for all recreation and pool access. Weekly fees are $110/per adult over age 16 and $55 for kids ages 6 - 15. We do not collect payment at time of rental to save you on service-related charges.

Beautiful place

We had such a great time! The amenities were great - fun for both the kids and adults! Great location - about 25-30 minutes from Rehoboth. The condo was beautiful- had everything you needed!

We loved it, enjoyed walking the trails and relaxing at the bay. We loved the pools, especially the wave pool. Restaurant food was delicious All staff was very friendly. Miniature golf was fun as well. Evenings was relaxing and very peaceful out on the patio. Mattresses was so comfortable.

It was great. We have rented from Lewes to Ocean City MD every summer for the last 25 years and your accommodations were the best. The deck was one of our favorite places to be once the heat subsided. We love the beach, fishing, pools, gym and the people who were very nice. Hope to do it again.

We had a superb week at this condo. Everything was very functional and beautiful. Clean and new. Very peaceful. We enjoyed the nice facilities, gorgeous pools, Gym, and great restaurant. The owner's hospitality and generosity was also a really nice plus, which made us feel so much at home. This is definitely a rental to recommend very highly.

Beware of EXTRA amenities fees

Renters BEWARE there are extra fees to use property amenities above and beyond what you paid for the weekly rental. No guest passes are included. It was a lot of extra money to stay in this condo when you add those in. While amenities are nice they are not worth that much extra money

What a vacation!

We loved staying at the Peninsula! The community was wonderful! My family and I stayed there, and the place was exactly as we expected! My kids are 15, 18 and 22. They were all pleased with the amenities. From the wave pool to the obstacle course to the mini-golf, there was so much to do every day! We loved hanging out at the adult pool for relaxation! Then we went to the kid's pool to play volleyball and lounge in the pool lounge chairs. The staff was wonderful, always checking to see if you wanted a drink or food. We enjoyed using the gym and walking around the community to look at the beautiful houses! Everything was very clean! We especially were very happy with Justin's place. It was perfect for our family of 5. He had so much there to offer, in case you forgot something at home. Justin was easy to get in touch with and answered all our questions promptly. The location was also great, so close to lots of stores and restaurants. Also close to Rehoboth Beach, where we spent lots of time. We will go back!!

My family and I had a great time! The unit was very clean, and there were plenty of extra linens and kitchen supplies. The owner was attentive to questions during the booking process. The Peninsula is beautiful; we especially love the wave pool!

Great Property!

Justin was a great host. The condo was nice and spacious! Kitchen had everything you needed. Parking and check in process was easy. The Peninsula was awesome to stay at. I only gave 4 stars because the beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable to sleep on.

Last minute rental! Extremely helpful and friendly owner who went out of his way to assist our family so we could have a family vacation- even during Covid! The condo was great! Everything you could need for stay! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home! We would love to come back again!

Great family spot

We had a wonderful week at Justin and Sarah’s condo unit at The Peninsula. The unit was quiet, clean and comfortable and was well stocked with all the types of things you forget that you need for vacation (syrup, mustard/mayo/ketchup, spices, etc). The community had tons of amenities for our small children to enjoy and we felt safe, even with COVID-19 being an issue. We would definitely come back here!

Buyer beware

Pros: 1) hassle free check in process and getting into gated community was not as difficult as previous reviewers mentioned. 2) condo was spacious and modern with plenty of bathrooms 3) pool, gym and massages were great and the amenities not overcrowded during the week. 4) condo has a well stocked pantry with plenty of basics. 5) no bugs like the previous reviewers mentioned. Cons: 1) construction project (3 townhouse units) 100 yards off the balcony, sunrise to sunset daily, except the 1st. "View from the balcony" not at all as advertised. 2) owner "heard last week" about construction, but 1 unit was already having appliances installed. Obviously it's been going on a while. 3) twin mattresses collapsed/sagging, the unit is not suitable for a foursome. Owner did mentioned beds were not the best quality but in an offhand way. Our adult daughter drove home after 1 night Overall, we made the best of our week. Moving to another unit in Peninsula was pointless since construction is going everywhere else too. We noticed "hard hat area" signs had been installed all around. Going forward we'll ask VRBO owners if beds are adult-worthy and if they happened to notice area construction before confirming :( We spent as much time as possible elsewhere.

Justin was very accommodating. We were originally scheduled to come down one weekend, but with the hurricane he allowed us to reschedule for another weekend. It was very easy to get into the community and apartment. The peninsula as a whole was great, family friendly! The staff was nice and the pool was awesome! When we got to the condo there was hair all over the floor (it looked like animal hair) there were also many drain flies in the condo. We would stay at the peninsula again, but likely look for a different, cleaner condo.

We loved everything about our vacation. The resort was beautiful and had all we could ever want. The children loved the wave pool, couldn’t get them out! The ocean wasn’t too far. Shopping was close by. The condo was perfect. Very comfortable. Ample sleeping accommodations, lots of televisions, clean with cleaning supplies, if needed. All appliances worked perfectly. Plenty of food staples. At one point, I had to get in touch with owner. He responded immediately and answered my questions. In short, we had the perfect vacation at the perfect spot. We will return

Beautiful well appointed condo in a amazing neighborhood

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo! So many amenities anything you can think of was there! Even fun board games we had never played! Loved the porch that overlooked the pond even on raining days(which was all of them unfortunately) you could sit out there and read and not get wet! Very peaceful. Gorgeous golf course community. Daily walks around the neighborhood were refreshing. We didn’t get to us the pool because of the weather but it was beautiful! The private beach is very nice as well. Would definitely recommend and come back for another stay! Thanks so much for letting share your beautiful home!
