This is a beautiful rustic family home situated in a small town 1 and a half hours from Barcelona. It has 4 bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms and there is one other separate bathroom with a shower. It can fit 8 people comfortably (3 double beds and 2 single beds). There is a small swimming pool and the nearest beach is a 15 min drive away. The town has a fantastic ambiance with many restaurants and bars, all of which are in walking distance. It is a great home for a family holiday!

The house is amazing, very well stocked and located in a super great town - excellent for travelling around from but also great for supermarkets and daily walk abouts for dinner and or gelato. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had about the house or town, with every effort made to replace a malfunctioning toaster even though we said it was fine! Super recommend!

Very authentic family house in the center of Begur

Great stay, authentic family house, although in the center of Begur very quiet. All facilities in place. Very promt and friendly response on questions from owner. We would definitely advise it for a great family stay!

Felt like staying with old friends

An amazing home in a fantastic location. Spacious, beautifully furnished and outfitted with everything you could possibly need to make your stay perfect. The house is an obviously well loved family retreat and it was easy to feel like a pampered guest of the family. The setting, on a flagstoned walk with only a short stroll to the town square or hilltop castle, couldn't be better. There are many shops and excellent restaurants within a few minutes walk. Our only regret is that since we visited in December, it was too cold to use the swimming pool. We'll have to visit again in the summer! Thank you so much Sarah!

Beautiful Country Home!

A family of seven stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. Needless to say, two nights was not enough! The home is warm, cozy and full of charm. It is quite large, has a kitchen that is fully equipped and has beautiful views of the town both from the backyard and the master deck. It is but steps from the center of Begur and therefore its restaurants and quaint shops. It is also a short drive to a few beautiful beaches (Sa Tuna, Pals). Sarah was always very kind and quick to respond with any questions. I can only hope we will be able to return someday and stay in this home again!

Beautiful home in charming neighborhood in Begur

Our stay was overall very lovely at this charming home on a historical Begur street and neighborhood. We had plenty of space, everything we needed in the kitchen, laundry, etc. The garden was beautiful, especially in the sunshine and the view from the upper balcony is amazing. The host was responsive and went out of her way to accommodate special needs and answer questions. My only complaint is regarding a lot of dusty corners from books/CDs stacked and some areas where the cleaners forgot to sweep, etc.

Un week-end en famille dans une maison magnifique

Cette maison est vraiment extraordinaire avec sa décoration originale et son jardin très agréable. Elle est confortable car en plus des chambres, les salles de bain et toilettes sont nombreuses. L’équipement pour faire la cuisine ainsi que la vaisselle sont vraiment top. Toute la famille était enchantée.

Charmante maison de famille !

Nous avons beaucoup aimé cette maison qui est vraiment une maison de famille avec les photos, les jeux etc. On connaissait Bien la région mais c’est la première fois qu’on était dans le centre du village et c’était super pour profiter de la vie De Begur, La maison est idéale pour des familles avec 4 chambres, et la clim pour bien dormir. Le jardin est ravissant, et on a beaucoup profité des extérieurs. Vraiment un endroit charmant où on se sent bien. Merci à Sarah pour sa disponibilité, tout à été très facile.

Absolutely beautiful old oil mill in the centre of historic village

We loved our stay at Sarah’s beautiful house, it was very clean and lovely toiletry was provided. Most of all, we loved the family friendly atmosphere of the stunning house, the old olive oil mill exposed in the entrance hall. There were many toys, flippers and games, and even a fishing rod for my husband. Sarah was always available when we had questions, she was an amazing host. The bedrooms were very quiet and comfortable with aircon, we all slept very well. The pool was well used as was the bbq. My favourite spot was the outside dining area, a cool and shady place to sit, eat and drink, and talk for hours, or play games or read. The beautiful beaches of the area are easily accessible, the water is wonderful, the kids spent hours snorkelling. Absolutely wonderful holiday, thank you, Sarah, we will be back next year :)

Échappée belle sur la côte catalogne

Begur est un endroit magnifique , avec un historique intéressant gravé dans l’architecture des maisons . La découpe du littoral fait penser à l’esterel Ou aux calanques de Cassis ! Enchantés de notre séjour et en plus très beau temps !

Begur bliss

This amazing space is located under the old castle ruins in the heart of Begur. Lots of free parking around the accommodation, and once your parked it’s within walking distance to all amenities. Having a rental car is a must to hit all the amazing beaches near by. The pool is deep cool and clean we used it often between visiting beaches We loved our stay and having A/C in each bedroom for sleeping comfort was amazing.

Thank you Sarah for a fantastic, perfect week in your lovely, cozy house...! We were 7 (5 'kids' aged between 15-20) and two adults (51 & 58). The house really felt like home and we can highly recommend it. Location, colours, feeling, space (3 separate bathrooms), garden, pool, well equipped kitchen: everything jus beyond expecation. We will definitely come back.

Amazing family friendly house

We had a perfect stay at Sarahs very family friendly and cosy house. The house has everything you could possibly need. We especially loved that the house is being used by the family, which gave it a very personal and homely feeling. Sarah was really friendly and responded very quickly every time. The centre of Begur is only a few steps away and the city is very charming. We would love to come back.

Perfect Location and private pool !

We spent a week at this amazing villa and it was perfect for my family of 4 plus grandma and 2 Aunties! We were looking for a place that had a private pool and was steps to the town and we cannot believe we found one! The town always has something going on and lots of cute restaurants and good shopping. I highly recommend this place. Sarah is super easy to communicate with too!
