REALLY wanted to like this place.
I waited over two months to submit this review, hoping that I was being dramatic. But I feel like you need to know what you could be getting if you come stay. First of all it says the host is Sheila but what little communication there was was with Paul.
Shortly after arriving, the winery opened and like others have said you can hear literally every word that is being said. They can hear you. Every time a door opens and closes the sliding glass windows rattle.
This Friday night there was “hired” entertainment. We found this out the next day when we went to check out the wines. We thought it was karaoke because it was terrible. The TV did not drown it out.
There was no kindling, and nothing to light a fire, even if we wanted one. There was no canoe, paddle boat, kayak did not have a paddle.
Be aware, there is no lighting outside. If you go somewhere and come back when it is dark, you will be trying to figure out how to get to the door. We left each evening to escape the noise from the winery below.
The shower curtain literally had black mold on it. Otherwise it was fairly clean. But for the cleaning fee, it would’ve been nice to be able to take a shower without having to avoid touching the mold.
Television is OK if you have Hulu or Netflix or want to watch a DVD they have.
Filthy grill
Not good if peace and quiet is what you are seeking. Limited characters, or would have said much more. Would have been much more peaceful at a hotel and less expensive!
