It has three bedrooms consisting of a king, a twin and a single room, there is also a family shower room and a cloakroom, the cottage can sleep six people. Also inside there is a kitchen diner and a sitting room. To the outside there is off road parking for three cars and a rear patio with a table and chairs. Fern End is a stunning cottage in an excellent location.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine. TV with Freeview, WIFI, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Stairgates, highchair and a travel cot on request. Off road parking available for one car and nearby roadside parking on a first come first come basis. Rear patio with a table and chairs. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Numerous local shops including post office, banks and chemist and pubs 2 minute walk. Town: Rothbury is on the north bank of the River Coquet, and is dominated by the Simonside Hills. It is a market town and its proximity to Northumberland’s National Park ensures excellent walking. Stone houses line the town’s main streets and there is shops on offer. With a golf course, tennis courts and cycle hire close by and great houses and gardens to explore, including Cragside, Alnwick Castle (home of the Duke of Northumberland), Wallington Hall and a host of famous castles, this great location has plenty to offer. Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder Reservoir and Forest and the sandy beaches and dunes of the coast are also within easy driving distance.
