Frank & Haddy Paradise + Back-up System + Cell WiFi Internet + Neighbor's pool

F & H 4 villa has a Back-up System which ensures power is available 24/7. It's 12 mins by car from airport and 10 min from major tourist area, beaches & restaurants. It has 2 en-suites with a ceiling fan in every room. The spacious living room has air-conditioning while its neighborly dining leads to a fully functional kitchen. The balcony overlooks the front garden nd neighbor's pool which is available to our guests. Guest(s) booking for at least a week is entitled to free WiFi during their 1st week.
Extras: An initial amount of cash power units are bought but once exhausted, electricity is charged with cash and must be paid individually according to consumption on site. There is a charge of £29.99 for the use of neighbor's pool for 3 consecutive days in the week.
Our home is located in a gated estate with security at the gates. A 4 by 4 wheel drive is available for both pick-up and drop-off at £25. Car can also be rented at £30 a day and charge includes cost of driver but not fuel (petrol). The cost of renting the car alone is £25 per day or £120 a week for our guests. The charge is double otherwise. You will need to sign our car rental agreement. A local guide to take you around at £20 a day.

The house was/is OK, Big kitchen, nice living room and bedrooms are OK too. Communication with owner and Alex was also OK. I surely recommend this house, you won't regret it.

Kumba, die junge Frau vor Ort ist absolut top. Da gibt es gar nichts. Immer erreichbar, für alles eine Lösung, super freundliche, total gründlich - das könnte nicht besser sein und da sind fünf Sterne nicht genug. Die Räume sind groß und mit dem wichtigsten eingerichtet. Die Gegend ist super, zentral, sicher. Aber sonst würde ich nicht nochmal buchen. Das vierte Badezimmer ist ein Gästeklo ohne Duschvorrichtung. Damit nicht zu zählen. Die 2 Gartenstühle waren kaputt, dann wurden auf Nachfrage ganze 4 ersetzt, für 4 Doppelzimmer doch recht wenig. Es gab Reparaturbedarfe, die wohl bereits vor unserer Anreise bekannt waren, mir der Austausch dann noch als Großzügigkeit verkauft wurden. An Vorabend vom bezahlten und gebuchten Abreisetag konnte man von Seiten des Vermieters kaum erwarten, bis wir raus sind, weil schon die nächsten Gäste für die gleiche Nacht eingebucht waren. (Wir hatten den nächsten Tag mitgebucht, damit wir nicht um 11 Uhr früh das Haus verlassen müssen und den ganzen Nachmittag bleiben dürfen) Da war gar nicht in Erwägung gezogen, dass unsere Freunde vielleicht bleiben - ist mir sehr negativ aufgefallen. Angeblich steht in der Beschreibung, dass nach der 1. Woche das WLAN zahlungspflichtig ist. Ich habs immer noch nicht gefunden, wo das steht und finds bei der Preisgestaltung unpassend. Es gibt nur einen Schlüssel für Tor und Haustür, absolut unpraktisch.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Frank and Haddy's beautiful and spacious home. It really was home from home; spacious rooms and furnished well and a real sense of privacy with the gated walls. The house manager was on standby for any assistance and Frank was a call/email away. Frank's assistance before the trip gave us a comfort and reassurance that families with children really appreciate. I highly recommend the home for those who want a holiday but also a sense of peace and calm away from it all; a place to go to after a long day of activities in town or a long stay on the beach. We also enjoyed the neighborhood pool which again added to the all package holiday experience. We hope to return again soon, Pascal & Chinelo CHRISTIAN

A fantastic holiday home with loads of space and everything you need for your holiday!

Our recent stay at Frank and Haddy’s was AMAZING! Firstly, Aram, the housekeeper is a wonderful cook, if you don’t use this extra service you are definitely missing out. We are still missing her food, weeks later.. Frank is so considerate and was very accommodating of our needs. Such a pleasure to deal with and always easy to contact. We arrived late (near midnight) yet were greeted with a warm smile by Aram who then helped with all our luggage and made sure we were okay before she left. The house itself is huge and has such a warm homey feel. The beds are great, and the rooms are very bright and airy. The Kitchen was essential for us being a family of four and needing to cook daily. We managed very well considering it wasn’t our kitchen and had mostly everything we needed. The separate laundry with washing machine was also a necessity and didn’t disappoint, I was very happy with the washing machine and how much time I saved having it. Last but not least the power system Frank has installed is fantastic, we had power all the time with the back up system. The neighbor hood is quiet and friendly and very close to the small shops that sell most essentials. We often walked around the block and enjoyed the beautiful homes of the estate. We would highly recommend Frank and Haddy’s for your Gambian holiday, all we ask is for you to look after it as we will be definitely returning for our next trip! The Danzo’s

Paradise Estate is often quiet and feel safe because of the security guards posted 24/7 at the gates. It has a park which includes a children's playground. There are local shops, a mini-market and pharmacy are all within 300 yards away from the vila.
The villa has a car which can rented at a reasonable price to avoid the hassle of moving around. Additional service like hiring of a local guide can be arranged. Lastly, Frank & Haddy, your hosts, are honest and decent people that will do everything they can to make their guests feel at home.
