About the host

While sailing on the Mediterranean, we had a storm and sheltered in the port of Cecina. During our stay of four windy days, we make a round trip and arrived in the village of Montecatini val di Cecina and fell in love with this part of Tuscany. Summer 2000 we bought the ruin, looking for good craftsmen, authentic materials and after that, rebuilding has lasted six years. After construction was finished, we have given our company in the Netherlands to our staff and we are left to our paradise, for now we receive our guests.
