We are delighted that this lovey apartment is now available for holiday lets again, after not being available between 2021 and 2024 due to a longer term let. This cosy one bedroom, ground floor annex features its own private entrance and is situated in an ideal position in Southbourne. The annex is just a short walk from the beach, Tuckton Village and Wick which is popular for its riverside walks. This property is perfect for a couple looking to enjoy a modern and comfortable holiday retreat.

THE ACCOMMODATION:
This lovely apartment has a separate Double Bedroom with a FLATSCREEN TV and FREEVIEW.

The compact lounge/diner includes a FLATSCREEN TV with SKY TV including SKY SPORTS and SKY CINEMA - FREE WIFI for holiday lets (subject to availability from Internet Service Provider) - this leads you to the kitchen area which has an ELECTRIC HOB - ELECTRIC OVEN - WASHING MACHINE - FRIDGE - MICROWAVE.

The apartment has a separate shower room with a toilet.

Outside the front door is a small area with a table and chairs so you can sit outside on a sunny day.

This accommodation comes with off road parking on the shared drive for one car.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Linen & towels included for holiday lets are provided by Resort 2 Us. This accommodation has a HAIRDRYER for guests to use. EPC GRADE - D. GAS/ELECTRIC - INCLUDED.

THE LOCAL AREA:
The property is situated on a residential road in Southbourne, just a short walk to the coast, offering miles of sandy beaches. Tuckton, also just a short walk away, offers a variety of restaurants, takeaways and convenience stores. The Riverside Restaurant, with its picturesque views over the River Stour, is a great spot for dining. Next to Tuckton is Wick and Tuckton Tea Gardens, which offer crazy golf, a play park for children, a tea room and riverboat hire. Ferries run regularly from here to Christchurch Quay, where you can enjoy a riverside park, a cafe, the Boathouse Restaurant, a bandstand and an exciting water play park with interactive features, jets, sprays and a paddling pool. From the Quay, the Vintage Ferry operates during the summer months (weather permitting), providing trips to Wick, Mudeford Sandbank and Hengistbury Head. Hengistbury Head nature reserve, within walking distance, offers a range of outdoor activities, including scenic walks and cycling. The famous Noddy Train provides easy access to Mudeford Beach. This holiday apartment is a short drive or a longer walk to Southbourne High Street for local shops including banks, post office, bespoke boutiques, bars and restaurants. The historic town of Christchurch is a short drive away, well known for its bustling high street, which features a range of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Quiet and easy to access

The property was very comfortable, quiet and had easy walking to the beaches and driving to the New Forrest. I also did a day trip to Guernsey from Poole and this added to the enjoyment of the location.

Very Compact

Whilst the property is probably ideal for short stays, and for those who travel light. But as my partner is disabled it was unsuitable for our purposes as it did not have enough storage space for the amount of clothes etc that two people needed for just over two weeks. Also apart from a small wardrobe there was no other hooks for hanging items. Also the lack of available windows to open made the place very warm and the only way to cure this was to leave the front door open for as long as possible. The cleanliness of the property was below the level that we would expect, and was obvious that the property was not checked prior to our arrival. The owners were accommodating with regards to parking, allowing us to park closer to the front door of the property so as to make access for my disabled partner easier, and this was appreciated.

Charming location

Loved the area near Christ Church. Nice walk to downtown and also short walk to beaches. Short drive to Bath, portsmouth, Weymouth and other great places
