Island Paradise in Hideaway Bay on Little Gasparilla Island is truly a tropical paradise, with it's pristine, white sandy beaches and the beautiful blue water of the Gulf of Mexico. There are no cars, no traffic, it is only accessible by boat. Our private ferry takes you back and forth from the mainland to the island. Swim in the warm water with the dolphins playing nearby, stroll the miles of beaches, look for shells or sharks teeth, or cast a line out and catch tonight's dinner. Take a dip in the sparkling heated pool. Bring your own boat, up to 21'. You have access to the community docks.
With views of the bay and the Gulf, Island paradise is ideally located. It is just a short walk to the beach , the pool, and to the boat slips, the ferry, or the kayak launch. Watch the sunrise over the bay from your lanai or deck; listen to the sounds of the water and the wildlife.
Decorated in island style, the first level has a screened porch, living room/dining room and entertainment center with TV and stereo, fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and master bedroom with queen bed. A spiral staircase takes you to a large second bedroom with a queen bed, 2 twin beds and another full bath. Linens and towels are provided. A full size washer and dryer are also provided for your convenience. WiFi service is available. The storage area on the ground level holds the beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and charcoal grill available for you to use .
Fire up the barbie..., get ready for happy hour. You're on island time. It's 5 o' clock somewhere.

The setting was quiet and peaceful. The property was very outdated. Lightbulbs were burned out, beach chairs were broken. Owner did replace those for us. Bath towels and wash clothes were well worn. Not what we expected for the money. We made The best of it and enjoyed our stay.

There were some minor problems with the property but nothing that detracted from our stay or kept us from enjoying our vacation. Beds weren't super comfortable but worked. Easy to sleep 6. Enough kitchen wares. Back porch faces bay side and has a nearby kayak slip. Beach was a hike but unit comes with a golf-cart. WiFi not so good. Is shared among the complex. Speedtests were consistant at 6M down/ 2.47 up. Had trouble streaming our Roku. Televisions only have on-air and no landline phone in unit. Rented a golf cart from LGI Golf Carts (can't take owner's off complex). Thoroughly enjoyed riding back and forth across the island. Beaches were amazing! Saw 3 manitee right off the beach!!

Family Summer Vacation 2021

Wanted clear water, beautiful beach with Gorgeous sunsets. Very clean and was a new experience staying on the island. The ferry schedule takes a little to get use to but not difficult at all. My suggestion pack light, stop grab one night groceries and enjoy your evening. You’ll fall in love with this area. We absolutely are looking forward to returning again!! Jan has all you need for daily life set up ( ie linen, towels, stove, grill and golf cart) and provided and if you have questions she’s very easy to contact. Homey stay and the beaches are not crowded. We LOVED this vacation and it’s our favorite of all vacation area we’ve had!!

Nice long weekend

Property is as described, clean, and had a few nice toys (kayak, golf cart, beach chairs). If you've read up on the island you know already this is not a luxury resort destination. Beautiful beach, no crowds, great weather was everything we wanted out of our trip. Bringing food and supplies over was simple and much easier than we anticipated, but this still something to consider when looking at this area. We would certainly be happy to return for another visit.

Great condo! It was so perfectly decorated, everything you need to be able to cook, tvs so everyone could wind down after a day in the hot sun, owner is extremely responsive. Our new favorite condo at Hideaway Bay!

Condo was very nice and Jan acted immediately when we had an AC problem and it was repaired Quickly. Some kitchen items could be upgraded but all in all very comfortable. Bring your own hairdryer though!! The island is an awesome “get away from it all” place!

First off LGI and Hideaway bay is always great. The unfortunate thing was that they were doing work on the septic plant and its was very loud not to mention the smell. Let's just say "not good". The condo F7 was ok. There was no golf cart available even though the weekly price was simulat to condos that include the golf cart. So we had to spend an additional $300 to rent one from LGI golf Carts. The location was fine nut the place was a but sparse. No box spring under the queen mattress in the master. Two of the three beds upstairs were twin roll away cots with the metal spring frame. They did allow the use of the two person kayak which our boys enjoyed.

Everything you need for a relaxing get away. Water aerobics in the morning, a walk on the beach, back to the condo for lunch, an afternoon of swimming or fishing in the Gulf. Sunset cocktails ane the grand finale.

Rest and relaxation achieved

Our stay was restful and relaxing in this clean and comfortable condo. The accommodations were as advertised. The complex is directly across from the beach with its own private boardwalk. The included ferry and parking is a bonus when staying on the island. The pool was a nice perk too. The golf cart was not available to us as it needed new batteries but it is not necessary unless you want to tour the island, which we did on foot. The queen bed in the master bedroom is a new pillowtop and comfortable although the pillows need to be replaced. I would classify this as a 'no frills' rental (compared to others I have stayed in), which is by no means saying it is bad: it has one tv in the living room with a few channels (but who wants to stay in and watch tv?); the kitchen is well stocked in terms of pots/pans/dishes, etc. but be sure to bring your own spices, oils, etc. in addition to food. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit and would recommend it. Janet was easy to work with and provided excellent information to prepare us for our stay. She promptly answered questions we had.
