Casa delle Fragole can sleep up to six guests comfortably in two bedrooms and a sofa bed in a in-between room in the main house, with two bathrooms in total.

Whether you want to spend lazy days at the pool or you want to venture out to the many medieval villages, Casa delle Fragole will be the perfect choice to offering all the comforts for a unique holiday. Casa delle Fragole maintains many of its unique Tuscan features such as wooden beams, stone features and terracotta floors. The villa is laid out over two floors, connected by both an internal open wooden staircase and a beautiful external Tuscan stone staircase. The villa is spacious (160 square meters) and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

From the main entrance on the ground floor, one accesses the large living room, which features a large open fire place, very cozy for cold winter evenings. The living room is complete with comfortable sofas, satellite TV and a Bowers & Wilkins sound system, featured by the available WiFi connection. Also on the ground floor you find the fully equipped kitchen with dining table. The sleeping area is located on the first floor of the villa and consists of two double bedrooms (one with an attached room with a sofa bed) and two bathrooms, with shower and bath.

Fenced and private, the well maintained and shaded garden leads to a lovely swimming pool, where there are sunbeds and parasols for guests to use.

A comfortable table with chairs is placed in front of the kitchen access, so that cooking and al fresco dining is as comfortable as possible. There is also a barbecue for barbecuing.

There is also a comfortable gazebo where meals can be enjoyed while admiring the amazing sunsets and enjoying a nice glass of Tuscan wine.

Casa delle Fragole also has convenient parking on its grounds and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Its location makes it the perfect starting point for day trips to discover the most beautiful historic and artistic cities of Tuscany and Umbria, all reachable by car in a short time (like Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto and many others) .

A little bit of paradise !

A beautiful property, gardens and pool. A few parts of it were a bit dark, esp the kitchen, but this is minor.

Herrliche Naturlage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem schönen Haus in der Toskana. Wir waren zwei Paare und dafür ist das Haus ideal, da einer der drei Schlafräume nur ein Durchgangszimmer ist. Das Haus ist herrlich gelegen, etwas abseits, mitten in der Natur, erhöht auf einem Hügel mit Blick auf Cortona. Liebevoll eingerichtet und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet, nur eine reguläre Kaffeemaschine fehlt ☺️ Es gibt nur eine Kapselmaschine für Espresso. Die Liegen beim Pool haben uns super gefallen, mit integriertem Sonnenschutz für jeden und die umliegenden Bäume spenden den ganzen Tag über Schatten. Der Ort Cortona ist ganz in der Nähe und hier hat man eine sehr gute Auswahl an schönen Bars, Cafés und Restaurants. Auch viele nahe gelegene Weingüter sind einen Besuch wert! Das einzige, was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, waren die Duschen. In der Beschreibung des Hauses steht, dass es Duschen sind, allerdings handelt es sich um um Badewannen mit Duschvorhängen. In der einen Badewanne gibt es auch keine Halterung für die Duschbrause, sodass diese während des Duschens immer in der Hand gehalten werden muss. Das sollte besser beschrieben sein, oder vielleicht ein Foto der Beschreibung hinzugefügt werden. Ansonsten haben wir uns aber sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben sehr kurzfristig gebucht und die Kommunikation, sowohl mit Kirsten als auch der Verwaltung lief super. Total nett, unkompliziert und immer schnell antwortend per WhatsApp / Mail. P.S. der Tenniscourt war der Hammer für uns! Wir haben ihn super oft genutzt und er ist in einem super Zustand!

nice place to rent

Overall we had a very nice experience during our stay. The house is nice and there is a nice swimming pool. It could be handy to make a path towards the pool though. The atmosphere is nice and the view is also great. Cortona is a nice little town to visit. Also there is a very nice bbq spot. The welcoming of the owners was very attentful and pleasant. Every few days someone came to clean the pool and after a week there were brought new towels and sheets. I will give some critical remarks now, but know this does not mean we were not satisfied, it is to help to better the whole. The 3rd bedroom wasn't exactly what we expected. it is good when having two children, but not ideal with an adult who wants his/her privacy. This should have been more clear when we booked the place. Also there were problems with the boiler, but the owners told us they will renew it. They really should, because for the price we payed, this really should be in order. The kitchen is missing a coocking hood. When coocking for 6 people, this should be present. It also keeps the kitchen cleaner. Also some wooden spoons could be handy and one more large pot. Also a large breadknife to cut the bread is handy. The available knifes weren't really suitable. A bucket was also missing. This is an important feature when you want your guests to keep things clean. I hope I helped with these critical notes. But remember that we had a very nice and pleasant stay and that we enjoyed staying at La fragole!

Beautiful home, great location!

We enjoyed our stay very much and would gladly recommend this house to our friends! Cortona was great. More laid back and less touristy than some other places we visited. It was the perfect way to spend the last week of our time in Italy!

Superb restaurants in town, many options for shopping nearby, pizza and beer a few minutes away! Arranged cooking classes, wine tasting in Montipuliciano, market in Arezzo.... and chilled by the pool with some drinks, great for families
