Spacious villa for lage families
It is a spacious villa for large families with a super poolarea. The location on Balcon al Mar is also fantastic, not far from Arenal beach in Jávea. However, the villa is seriously outdated, and several things are in need of renovation. For example, the lower bathroom (at the back of the house) is not usable. Also, the ground-floor bathroom is damp, mouldy, and spreads a musty mouldy smell throughout the house. When we entered the villa, we had to open all windows and doors for hours to ventilate, and for all the days of our stay. The kitchen is too small for so many people, and seriously in need of renovation: there is no extractor system, drawers and doors are broken, the dishwasher will soon give way, and above all there are not enough pots and pans, glasses and coffee cups for a large group. The outdoor kitchen can hardly be used : for instance, the gas hob does not work, and the rusty bbq is not usable. The building is in the middle of a beautiful garden, BUT, it is not maintained at all: there are weeds everywhere, remnants of wood and building materials, wilted bushes, dead trees... The managers did send an electrician the same day, when we reported that a lot of lights on the property were not working. However, the swimming pool was also maintained up to twice a week. But we did not see any gardener.
