If you are looking for RELAXING AND QUIET VACATION, where you can get away from dynamic city life, spend time with your loved ones and reconnect with yourself, this is the perfect place for you.

Our beautiful holiday house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets, living room and kitchen. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with shower, kitchen/dining room and living room with SAT TV, free wi-fi and fireplace. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and toilet.

One bedroom consists of double bed, sofa bed and has a balcony with beautiful forest view. The second bedroom consists of double bed and the third bedroom has two single beds.

The whole house is made out of wood and has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. House is surrounded by forest and provides you lots of place for relaxing and playing in the fresh air.

Barbeque is also provided so you can make delicious food for your loved ones while your kids play on the swing in the meadow in front of the house. We also provide you with parking space next to the house.

LOCATION

Holiday house "Jelena", a stunning vacation house is located in the mountainous region in Croatia, in the picturesque village of Lokve. This place is popularly called "THE GREEN HEART OF CROATIA" or "Croatian Switzerland". The house is ideally located to relax and explore natural beauties of Gorski kotar, such as national parks, protected landscapes, caves, rivers, lakes, and mountains. It is the perfect place for spending time peacefully in nature with your family and friends.

House is situated only 350 meters from a magnificent lake "Lokvarsko", where you can swim, sunbath and also take a touristic ride on "Čača splav", raft/boat and enjoy the beauties of the lake and stunning landscapes during the 60- minute ride.

The city center is only 2 km drive from the house and there you can find 2 minimarkets, touristic office, cafe bars and touristic attractions such as "Lokvarka cave" and "Frog museum". The closest mini-market for getting your groceries is only 1 km drive from the house.
With only 8 km drive you can get to Delnice, "the city of cleanest air", where you can also make your shopping in big supermarket, visit restaurants, relax in swimming pool and feed the wild animals. The area of Gorski kotar provides a HUGE AMOUNT OF ACTIVITIES which can make your days unique such as bike riding, horse riding, rafting, fishing, hiking, having fun at adrenalin parks while doing paintball, zip line or archery. You can also spend your day at "Golubinjak forest park" which is a wonderful place to relax in. It represents the strong bond between outstanding natural beauty and careful human intervention in it.

If you wish to explore places outside of Gorski kotar and spend the day at the seaside you can easily get there from Lokve. Only 2 km from the house there is a highway Rijeka- Zagreb which can take you on a 40 km drive and bring you straight to sunny Adriatic coast. There you can visit beautiful cities such as Rijeka, Opatija, Crikvenica, and Island of Krk. There you can experience a whole new spectrum of activities such as boat riding, water skiing, swimming and sunbathing at one of many gorgeous Croatia beaches.

Ein sehr schönes Haus zum Entspannen und Familie genießen

Als Familie mit drei Kindern, Opa und Hund haben wir uns in dem wunderschönen und liebevoll eingerichteten Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus mit ausreichend Grundstück liegt sehr idyllisch in einem Waldstück. Man hat absolut seine Ruhe und ist für Unternehmungen oder Einkauf nah genug an allem dran. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und biete ausreichend Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen. Der Empfang und die Unterstützung bei Fragen etc. vor Ort durch die Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Holzhaus am Wald

Wir haben uns im Holzhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Wege zum Nationalpark Risnjak sind sehr kurz. Für unsere beiden 13-jährigen Töchter hat das W-LAN ausgezeichnet funktioniert.

Beautiful holiday home

Warm welcome from Ivana's parents on arrival. More welcome goodies than we have ever experienced including a range of brandys. Very generous and very much appreciated. The chalet has everything we needed and more. It was immaculately presented and very clean. Good TV, great sound system and a wood pellet burner for those cooler evenings. It is set in the woods and as such has no view, but you have peace, solitude and privacy with much bird life including woodpeckers, owls and even an eagle fly past. It was lovely dining on the large patio and listening to all the birds. The patio has a huge sunshade. There is a neighbouring property but it is well screened and was empty throughout our stay. The location is perfect for access to some great mountain hikes and easier walks. The nearby lake is beautiful and very quiet, in fact we hardly met a sole on any of our mountain hikes or lakeside/riverside walks. Ivana responded very quickly to any enquiries both before and during our stay. We had a lovely time here and would not hesitate to recommend it.

A very nice house. It is perferct for a holiday in kroatia.

This holiday home is absolutely perfect. Here you have your peace and relax. It is cheap and the landlords are very nice. There was and nothing missing. A couple of minutes drive and you are by the sea. This house is absolutely recommended. We thank for the hospitality and thank you very much. Greetings from Germany Oyten near Bremen.
