The Peneda-Gerês National Park is considered by UNESCO as World Biosphere Reserve. Gerês is one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal and also one of the best preserved, dazzles by the beauty, landscapes, rivers, waterfalls and preserved villages.
Places to visit include: Albufeira do Ermal, S. Bento da Porta Aberta, Miradouro da Pedra Bela, Vila Vilarinho das Furnas, Geira Romana, Pitões Monastery, Pitões das Júnias, Ponte da Mizarela, Lindoso, Albegaria Wood, Soajo, the Cascade of the Arado, Castro Laboreiro and Nossa Senhora da Peneda.
Gerês is located 90 km from Porto International Airport and 84 km from Vigo Airport in Spain.
The property is located in the center of Gerês, 300 meters from the thermal waters of Gerês and inserted in the Peneda Gerês National Park.
