Annual cousins weekend

Perfect house for 10 women to get together. Enough seating around the table for happy hour, dinner and great conversation to catch up. Also, a perfect location.

The house is perfect--clean, beautiful and walking distance to so much! Mike and Pam are also extremely nice, responsive, and very accommodating. Not to mention, they have thought of everything you might need to have a nice vacation (bikes, games, towels, beach gear, etc)...which makes packing much easier. There is a reason we stay here every year!!

Wonderful vacation!

This was the second year we stayed at this beautiful house. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and the house has everything you’d need for your vacation. It’s spacious and clean as well. There were 8-9 of us there during the week and we all had a blast!

Very convenient to the beach

The stairs are very noisy. The master suite hears everything going on in the house. We all enjoyed our stay. Located near short sands, long sands beach and not far from perkins cove and Ogunquit 👍 the children enjoyed the ping pong table! All in all we loved the place ❤️

For years we have been doing family vacations on Nantucket or at Cape Cod. The York area had more to offer with shops, beaches, and restaurants. What I especially liked was none of it was overcrowded

Beautiful home near the beach

The house was spotless with huge bedrooms (4) . Walked to short sands and downtown. Very peaceful for a rainy springtime weekend to celebrate my bffs 60 th burthday

Amazing 2nd year!

Our group of 13 had a blast on our second visit. There is plenty of room and activities for all of us. We love the location of the house and how accommodating the owners are. It’s beginning to feel like a home away from home each September. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Another fantastic and memorable stay

Another fantastic & memorable stay was experienced by all who joined our annual family Christmas celebration at 52A-B Main Street. The indoor living quarters – spacious spotless and fully stocked – are complemented by the homes’ central location and lovely outdoor living spaces – allowing individuals or groups to easily walk to the Short Sands Beach/ playground or gather around the cozy backyard fire pit. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in York. Thanks again Pam and Mike!

Fantastic!

My family and I have stayed at a lot of rentals while vacationing and mike’s and Pam’s place had the most comfortable beds! Everyone got a great night sleep which is important when you are vacationing with children and other families! It was very obvious they put a lot of thought into their rental! We are hoping to come back next September!

Perfect for our family trip

This was a perfect spot to stay for our family trip with kids and grandkids - 11 of us in all. The location of the house allowed both trips north up the coast of Maine, and trips south to Boston, Concord, and Salem. Everything necessary for family entertainment (ping-pong table, tv, firepit) was close at hand. There were even bicycles and helmets in the garage! The kitchen was fully equipped and there were plenty of towels for the bathrooms and trips to the beach. Thank you Pamela and Mike!

Girl's Long Weekend Getaway

This is the second time that we have stayed at Mike and Pam's house. We arrived to a lovely note and bottle of wine! The house is beautiful and there is plenty of room for all of us, plus we enjoy sitting at the large dining table for us all to eat together and for playing cards. The location is an easy walk to all the restaurants, stores and beach. Mike and Pam are very accommodating and stop in to make sure that we have everything that we need! Will definitely be staying again.

The Wedding of the Year !

Hi. My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks during August 2024. We travelled over from Ireland to celebrate the Wedding of our son . We needed a house that would accommodate our whole family and the groom and his new wife after the Wedding. This house was exactly what we needed and Mike and was very helpful and provided us with anything we needed, including a new electric kettle , something not found in many US homes. I would recommend this house if you are looking for the perfect location, plenty of space and its also very close to the center of the town. It has everything you could possibly need. Its got it all and we will be back .. thanks Mike.

GREAT LOCATION WITH SPACE TO SPARE!

We have vacationed in York for 20 years (more like a home away for home for us). We always stayed up near Nubble Lighthouse but that rental is now gone. We have been looking for a close replacement. Although not on the ocean, this property is a 5 minute walk to York Beach and the little town with shops and restaurants. The house is stocked with what you need and the rooms are bright and spacious. We loved having a fire pit at night to unwind and we played plenty of ping pong in the garage. There are bikes to use but we ran out of time so next time for sure! If you have a large group - you could rent the attached house which is identical and all be together so that is something we will keep in mind for our big family!! Thanks for the great accommodations which made our get away that much more special !!

The best of everything!

Finding a place for 11 women go away every year can be challenging. This place hit the mark.... plenty of room.. the beds were so comfortable and spacious too. Being able to walk downtown was a real plus. Pam and Mike were lovely to work with and very responsive. One thing I might recommend before you check in(Pam and Mike, maybe there were instructions, but we could not find them) is there is instructions on how to use the TV's? The TV in the front room is a smart TV and well, it was a little too smart to operate. We eventually did, but not until many different tries of hitting buttons. Overall, we had a great time and loved the house!

Best Family Vacation

We stayed at this property the first 12 days of June. We traveled from PA and had 3 families with a total of 13 guests with the age range from 59-6. The house was everything we needed plus more we didn't even get to take advantage of. The location was perfect for our home base as we took a lot of day trips to New Hampshire and Massachusetts. We also loved the neighborhood the house was in and felt very safe with the kids being able to play in the backyard as we made dinner. Having all the towels and linens included was a major bonus for us because it saved so much room with packing. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to make meals. We met Mike, Pam and their son-in-law and they were very nice and extremely helpful with giving us some local advise for restaurants and places to visit. We are usually a family that only visits a place once, but would definatly go to York, Maine and would pick my dates based on the availability of this house.

Spacious, invitingly decorated, gracious hosts

There are few things that fill the heart more than having time with family at the holidays. We want to extend a great word of thanks to Pam and Mike for the wonderful experience of staying at 52B Main St in York. There was a welcome note/bottle of wine on arrival. We found the rooms both spacious and invitingly decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked with plateware, cookware and oversized refrigerator/stove—and the open concept allowed all of us to hang out together. We were able to comfortably fit us all at the table(s) for Christmas dinner. There is ample space in each bedroom, and many commented in the morning re having had a “great nights sleep”. This York property location is optimum for taking a walk to the beach—even on a crisp winter day. I suppose the only shortfall was that we wish we were able to stay longer!! Thanks Pam and Mike!!
