Tropical villa with Jacuzzi pool 200m from the beach - La Varangue

This holiday villa with colonial charm, is composed of 4 independent standing rooms, in the middle of tropical vegetation. The furniture mainly includes authentic Creole period furniture.

For your moments of relaxation, you will have a large outdoor swimming pool, as well as a 4-seater Shiatsu massage jacuzzi, placed under a canopy under the stars under the coconut trees.

The villa was built around a huge veranda of 50m2 which is a real tropical living space. Completely open onto the garden, you can enjoy two leather and wood standing lounges, as well as a comfortable canopy bed which is an invitation to relax ... The veranda also accommodates a large dining table for 8 people, very friendly, located near the kitchen-bar.

The kitchen (36m2) is also open to the garden and the BBQ area. Perfectly equipped, it will allow you to prepare your meals, or if time is short, to reheat your take-away meals available within 200m (2 Creole restaurants, 1 Thai, 1 specialized fish ...). For your BBQ evenings, a gas Weber is available to grill fresh meat or fish, purchased 100m from the villa.

The interior of the house has been fitted out around a library lounge in the colonial style, and a TV lounge for your pampering moments. These spaces are air conditioned.

The villa is covered by high-speed WiFi.

Séjour mitigé...

Les photos ne correspondent plus à la location actuelle: sur les photos tout est refait, tout parait neuf, sol brillant, bois lasuré, petit bar en bout de cuisine avec chaises hautes et plantes exotiques à côté etc..En réalité, notre 1ère impression a été négative : fauteuils tachés en sortie de cuisine, un banc sale sous un volet vieilli et plein de fourmis (saison des mangues sûrement...) portes coulissantes difficiles à ouvrir, fermer et verrouiller sac poubelle rempli de bouteilles Dodo à l’entrée (prévoir de le mettre ailleurs ?) les interrupteurs sont d'un compliqué pour allumer les lumières derrière la cuisine : une vraie décharge avec tout un tas de bazar entassé fuite d'eau à l’entrée : ça peut arriver, mais ça nous a pas été signalé, ni à notre arrivee, ni plus tard durant notre séjour (une personne de notre groupe a quand même failli tomber 3 fois) les finitions... J’avais l’impression d’être dans la maison d'un tonton ou d'une tatie de la Réunion avec ce bricolage fait maison, sauf que là on paie assez cher pour une prestation qui n’est pas vraiment là...A côté de ça, Olivier (propriétaire) est extrêmement sympa, le jardinier également, une boulangerie (extra), des restos et des petits commerces à 5 minutes à pied.Très mitigée pour cette location désolée...Gros potentiel mais il faudrait prévoir quelques travaux et un petit rafraichissement.

Wunderschönes Haus im kreolischen Stil

Das Haus ist wirklich eine kleine Perle. Der Eingangsbereich ist draußen direkt neben der wirklich schönen, gut ausgestatteten Außenküche und dem Außenwohnzimmer. Von der Küche aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf den tropischen Garten und den großen Pool. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt. Das Haupthaus in kreolischem Stil ist liebevoll gestaltet und mit schönen Kolonialstilmöbeln ausgestattet. Im Nebengebäude sind zwei weitere Schlafzimmer, wir haben hauptsächlich das Haupthaus genutzt. Sicherlich ist nicht alles perfekt und auch hier und da etwas renovierungsbedürftig. Insgesamt hat die gesamte Anlage aber sehr viel Charme, ist sehr ruhig gelegen, fußläufig zum Bäcker, kleinem Supermarkt, Creperie/Eisdiele, Restaurants, Strand. Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich freundlich und herzlich. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und würden immer wieder hierher zurückkehren.

Des améliorations à apporter

La maison est bien conçue, agréable à vivre. La piscine et le SPA ont été fort utilisés par notre famille. La literie est de très bonne qualité, nous avons apprécié le carri et le remplacement des draps en milieu de séjour. Nous avions des critères pour réserver, un d'entre eux était de rentrer au minimum un véhicule dans la propriété (confirmé par l'annonce) en fait une place disponible sur la rue. Découverte d'une seconde location avec le même accès, ce n'était pas gênant mais ça manque de transparence. Il y a cependant quelques points à améliorer et nous les avons abordés avec Olivier, il en a convenu et m'a assuré que des devis allaient être demandés, il s'est engagé à faire réaliser les travaux. Des finitions qui ne correspondent pas à un 4 étoiles. Tuyaux de gaz à remplacer avant 2020 et 2021, rideaux sans ourlets qui traînent au sol. Douchette non fixable dans une salle d'eau, un support de douche "arraché" dans une autre. Vieux chauffe eau déconnecté et laissé en place dans l'arrière cuisine, peinture de la façade en état bien moyen (je dispose des photos). A noter qu'Olivier a répondu rapidement en remplaçant la plaque de cuisson qui n'avait plus que deux brûleurs en état. Ces détails ne nous ont pas empêchés de passer un bon séjour même si ma première impression a été négative. J.Duteil

Quelle déception!

Ménage qui laisse à désirer (nombreux mégots au sol et dans les pots...) et surtout une panne du jacuzzi pendant l'essentiel de notre séjour. On est loin du compte! Pire, après avoir accepté un dédommagement symbolique et nous avoir contraint à signer un reçu, la propriétaire change d'avis et refuse de payer ! A la limite de l'honnêteté! Déplorable !

Cher Nicolas nous sommes désolé que vous ayez eu une mauvaise expérience chez nous . Nous faisons toujours notre maximum pour que le séjour de nos convives soit une belle expérience- Depuis 5 ans nous enregistrons toutes locations confondues ( nous avons 5 maisons et donc des centaines de séjours ) que quelques appréciations de moins de 4 étoiles et aucune 1 étoile . Une panne est désolante mais aucune structure n'est à l'abri . Nous sommes reconnus par nos hôtes pour notre réactivité -Nous avons été informé de la panne de jaccuzzi le dimanche soir alors qu'elle avait débuté le samedi - Il est très compliqué à la Réunion d'obtenir un technicien en quelques jours ( vous partiez le mercredi) - La piscine était parfaitement fonctionnelle et très agréable en cette période chaude .Vous avez déclinez notre offre de compensation qui n'était pas négligeable - Vous vouliez plus d'argent- Nous n'avons jamais contraint personne à signé un document et nous n'avons aucun reçu de votre part !? Enfin les commentaires ne sont pas fait pour régler ses comptes ou nuire aux hébergeurs mais ils ont pour mission de fournir une évaluation objective de la maison et du séjour . Olivier

Cadre et emplacement idylliques pour faire découvrir mon île

J'étais à la Réunion pour mon mariage et la 2e partie de notre séjour avec ma belle-famille, qui se voulait plus touristique, a commencé dans cette maison à Étang-Salé. Outre son emplacement idéal facilitant l'accès aux principaux sites touristiques, c'est un petit écrin de rêve qui a participé à un accueil royal. Une arrivée tardive n'a pas empêché les propriétaires de nous souhaiter la bienvenue avec un plat créole qui ne demandait qu'à être réchauffé, une surprise qui a fait son effet ! Très disponibles, nos hôtes étaient là pour répondre à la moindre de nos questions sur le fonctionnement de la maison. Par ailleurs, toutes les commodités étaient à proximité et si la fatigue des visites se faisait ressentir, il n'y avait rien de mieux que de nous prélasser dans le jacuzzi ou nous détendre dans la piscine avec vue sur un petit jardin luxuriant. Merci pour ces moments magiques Emma et Olivier !

ns avons passer 1 exellent sejour en famille. Emma et Olivier sont des hotes tres avenants et a l ecoute. nos enfants ont adore et le sentiment de se sentir "a la maison" est vmt genial. les chambres, literies et sdb st vmt bien. 1 vrai moment de fariente grace a la belle terrasse sur la piscine et detente avec le jardin arbore. Un grand merci a Emma et Olivier... c est sur ke l on revient :)
