The Pylon. Porta delle Langhe
Il Pilone is located in Madonna del Pilone (Cavallermaggiore). The entire property was built in 1777, at the time of its construction surrounded by woods and rare fields, it formed with the two adjacent farmhouses, the typical "fortress" system which was accessed only through the two gates on the south side and north side. One of these two buildings, on the south side, built in 1889, now completely renovated with period materials and furniture, has become a luxury guest house.
