We also organize a tour around villages and the Namobuddha Monastery. The Namobudhha Monastery is a village with a huge Tibetan Buddhist monastery about 6 km from Panauti. It is at the top of the hill in shyampati village. It is one of the nicest and a tourism center. The most important celebrations and mela that are celebrated here are kartik purnima (during October / November) and Buddha jayanti. This is an ideal and relaxing walk for a day.
