Angelica's Cottage built in the early 1900's has been fully restored retaining its Architectural design. The Cottage features a 3BR / 2BA, Fully equipped kitchen w/ Stainless Steel Applicances and tranquil private courtyard. The Cottage has gorgeous hardwood floors and sophisticated artwork throughout. Relax on the over-sized porch equipped with vintage Rocking Chairs as Jazz second lines pass the front Door.
The New Orleans "Shotgun" Style home features a large Living area beautifully decorated with a flat screen TV and Dinette table / Chairs.
There are 3 private bedrooms w/ Queen Size Beds (Sleeps 2) w/ Flat Screen TV's; Linen, Pillows and extra blankets are provided. Bath #1 has exquisite tile w/ Tub and shower combo. Bath #2 was recently added and has a beautiful shower spa.
The Fully Equipped gourmet kitchen includes utensils, cutlery, cookware, microwave, coffee pot and more.
This culturally rich and full of life neighborhood offers our guests the finest "Big Easy" retreat. The Louis Armstrong Park, Mahalia Jackson Theater, French Market, French Men street, Jackson Square, many shops and restaurants are just a short walking distance away. I am a native New Orleanian and I love my city. My husband Don and I would love to have you visit our home which is located just 3 minutes walking from the french quarters. We are retired professional people who will devote as much time as necessary to make your stay enjoyable.
Why they chose this property
When vacationing in New Orleans there is no better location .my home is in the heart of historic Treme,where second lines and jazz funerals are a weekly occurrence ,this home is in the midst of everything new Orleans,you are 2 blocks from the French quarter and a street ride to everything else.
What makes this property unique
Exterior cameras have be installed for your safety and convenience during your stay. All guest outdoor space such as the front porch, balcony and backyard areas open between hours 5am-Midnight. However, you may use these areas as a designated smoking areas individually not as a group during restricted times. There are no Interior camera's located inside the property.
