We invite you…. to discover summer at the cottage. Sun hats, beach towels, and the warmest lake within miles. The 142 Cottage is perfectly nestled in the Osoyoos Cottages resort located at the north end of Osoyoos Lake. Driving off the Highway 3A, the narrow country road winds into a desert beauty surrounded by Antelope Brush, grass fields, vineyards and the Haynes Lease Ecological Reserve.

Arriving at the cottage requires nothing more than putting the suitcases away, grabbing a towel, and heading to the beach. This three bed/three bath home is fully equipped – a modern but relaxed décor is a soothing retreat for families, couples, or friends.

The sun room provides the perfect place to lounge, feel the warm breeze and enjoy a good book or a glass of wine. Adirondack chairs on the large patio allow one to enjoy the beach and mountain views.

And as you step outside of the cottage and into the sun, the only question is – right to the pool or left to the beach? Grab one of the big beach towels by the door and enjoy.

If your perfect getaway includes exploring what the region is best known for, there are 26 sun-drenched wineries between The 142 Cottage and Oliver – all within 5-20 minutes’ drive.

Perfect for sun, water and wine

Another great stay at The Cottages. Everything you need and more is provided by the amazing hosts. A great location in the complex, close to the pool, workout room and the lake. An easy drive to lots of wineries which is always a highlight. We couldn't wish for anything more. Thank you, BettyAnn and Carlos for a great home away from home.

Perfect location. Comfortable accommodations for my family of 4. Owners were lovely and great at answering any questions. Went above and beyond when I left some items behind. Looking forward to staying there again next year.

Happy Place

This is our fourth time staying at Cottage 142. The location close to the lake, wide open grass area and Community Centre is perfect. This beautiful cottage feels like home, we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you Carlo and Betty-Ann for sharing your home and being great at communicating!

Relaxation in the sun in wine country

Our stay was just what we needed. No detail is forgotten to make this a home away from home. From the location to the amenities to the outfitting of the kitchen for easy living, nothing is overlooked. We are already talking about next year.

Owning a cottage at the lake has been a dream for as long as I can remember.... Betty-Ann that is. Carlo wanted to own a vacation home in the southern interior and when we discovered the Osoyoos Cottages, our adventure began. There is nothing like the feel of soft music floating about the house, outside to the patio.... with the sun and warm breeze on our faces, lounging in the Adirondack chairs, with a beautiful glass of deep red Syrah, and an assortment of hand-crafted bread and cheeses from Platinum Bench Winery artisan bakery. Who says dreams don't come true?
