Marathon's Violet Apartment offers visitors to the region a comfortable and private refuge from which to explore the magic and glory of mother nature in all its beauty and complexity. We have 13 different varieties of palm trees.

Surrounded with lush tropical gardens, Marathon has three apartments with deluxe rooms. All rooms feature hot water, ceiling fans, hand crafted decor in addition to air conditioning.

Scuba diving, sport fishing, dolphin tours, horseback riding and fine dining.

Violet apartment sleeps two, has one large room with a bedroom area, separate shower room and kitchen. Featuring triple sized cascading koi fish ponds. Large swimming pool. Beaches within one mile.

Tranquil Setting

I actually lived in this apartment from October, 2016 until the present but the calendar wouldn't let me go back that far. This is a lovely apartment in a very quiet, beautiful setting. The pictures are accurate and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. I have loved my stay here.

There's only one AC provided.. charging us $100 while there.. meanwhile when we came in it was humid it smelled like mildew..no big deal at this point.. we went out did food shopping to get that out of the way came back thinking by the time we get back it will smell less humid.which it didn't. . while my husband was sitting down I was cooking he started realizing they were bugs we are from the city we are used to certain bugs but not the Bugs we were seeing they were like worms with a whole bunch of legs. We started seeing worms everywhere one thing is to see them on walls or floors but when I went into the room to change sheets I saw one on top of the bed that's when I was creeped out... there was an infestation of it..plus there was no WiFi but the amenities mention they have..no TV.. and surely our phone didn't have no reception she did mention to us that her home had a landline if you wanted to use it ..she also did went out her way to try to fix the wi-fi and also for someone to exterminate ..which at this point I was already creeped out from the bugs we didn't want to inhale chemicals ..that same day we decided to leave and rent somewhere else Barbara did give us half of rental ...hopefully babara fixed everything and when someone else rents there they will feel happy about staying there ..to me it was to much money for a roof over your head and a pool the person I rented the same day for 400 I got TV Wi-Fi my own landline phone and a pool.....overall disappointed with babara property

After the attentions of a good exterminator the insect problem was promptly irradiated and the internet and TV were quickly addressed. The rental has been occupied with a happy lady for over a year.

Thanks for everything

This is a great place: economical and quiet with a wonderful pool in the midst of a spectacular tropical garden. Lots of fascinating birdlife. A rental car puts you minutes away from a selection of great restaurants on East Bay St and the Atlantis resort, plus nearby well-stocked food stores. Enjoyed my time at this friendly, well-appointed retreat. Many thanks to Mrs Pyfrom for everything. Wonderful time!
