The location is absolutely breathtaking-with amazing views of the Nevis Range!Quiet and peaceful with woodsy trails within walking distance.Home very clean and nicely furnished…amazing bathrooms! Kitchen stocked with tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits-which was much appreciated:)Perfect location for our multi generational family stay. Would definitely stay here again!
What a location! Fantastic accommodation with fantastic views. The property was perfect for our group which was 4 adults and a dog.
We were able to walk out of the property and enjoy the locale without the need for a car but when we did use a car we then had all of the Highlands at our disposal - including M&S in Fort William!.
From the moment we were welcomed in until we left this beautiful home we were beguiled. This gem really had everything we needed . The underfloor heating was a lovely surprise and after some long days walking the open fire was so cosy to sit next to . The home was clean and exactly as described. The use of local goods was lovely to see . Communication was excellent and we really hope we can visit again in the future. Amazing views of Ben Nevis . Quiet and peaceful but not so far from Fort William if you wanted it. Thanks for being wonderful hosts.
There aren't enough stars to give this property. The setting is amazingly beautiful, when I opened the bedroom curtains the first day I literally gasped over the view! The house is clean, warm, and snug. The beds were decently comfortable, the rooms have enough space to be usable, the baths have good space and are functional. The proprietor was responsive and friendly.
This property is a little bit of a drive to Fort William (about 15-20mins) but we did not mind at all because it's just such a great place to stay, and so beautiful! We are already planning to come back and stay longer!
The only item to note is that we expected one bath to be en-suite and it wasn't - just noting that for others to see in case it's a sticking point.
Friends and I had a phenomenal time at Inverskilavulin Estates. It's a bit of a drive from any towns so if you're looking to get away from noise it was absolutely perfect. Personally, I enjoyed the narrow (but wide enough for a large SUV) forest roads. The house was clean, we entered following very simple check in instructions and found some biscuits and refreshments left for us. We were soon greeted by the host who gave us a great rundown of everything and some excellent advice about things to do in the area! Also the showers were amazing.
If you're looking to get away and into nature, I could not recommend enough.
Our family loved our stay here. A lovely house beautifully decorated and fully outfitted, including strong WiFi and modern kitchen. Gorgeous scenery and easy access to hiking and other outdoor activities. Close proximity to Fort Williams and restaurants and stores. Will definitely try to stay here again.
Superb views , house has everything you need ,very warm and cosy .
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We are a family of five ,with our black labrador too
From start to finish we enjoyed everything the house and area has to offer.
The views over the hills and mountains are unreal and the local area is amazing for exploring on foot too .
The house is spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. The setting was incredible - views of mountains from every window. The host was very kind and responsive, sorting us out with extra firewood when we ran out. We’ll definitely be back!
The cottage is well equipped with all the mod cons & decorated to an excellent finish making it very comfortable. If luxury accompanied with peace & quiet are what you’re searching for then this is the place, the location and views well worth the extra drive just outside of Fort William.
