You won't find anything better if you want the natural solitude of the Keweenaw Peninsula combined with the beauty of Lac La Belle and the coastal atmosphere of Lake Superior. Nicolas North Lodge offers all of this and more! You'll love this rustic yet tastefully modern cabin on one of the most beautiful inland lakes in Michigan with its commanding views of Mount Bohemia situated directly across the lake.

Inside this charming log cabin you will find a gorgeous rock fireplace where you can curl up with a good book on the comfortable sectional sofa. The kitchen has a gas stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher and all the amenities for good cooking and eating, including staples and spices. Flat screen Smart TV and WiFi are available for your use.

The main floor bedroom has a queen bed; a second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds (trundle bed); the main floor bedrooms share an adjacent bathroom with a new walk in shower.

The third bedroom is an upstairs loft with a hickory queen bed, sitting area, and a small bathroom with toilet and sink/vanity.

There is a 3-season porch that offers outstanding views of the lake and Mount Bohemia, with access to the deck overlooking the lake. It is equipped as a 'sleeping porch' with a hickory day bed/trundle bed, and a queen air bed sleeper sofa.

In the basement level there is a full bath with toilet, shower, and vanity/sink. The cabin also comes equipped with a highchair and a porta-crib.

All linens (sheets/towels) are provided.

Enjoy the sunny deck with a table, chairs and barbecue that overlooks Lac La Belle and a panoramic view of Mount Bohemia. Enjoy the nights on the campfire patio by the waters edge.
Fishing on Lac La Belle can be done on the dock or with your own boat. Lac La Belle is known for its walleye fishery, along with bass and pan fish. Within 5 minutes you can be Great Lakes fishing in beautiful Bete Grise Bay via the natural waterway from Lac La Belle to Lake Superior. Fishing is superb for Lake Trout, Salmon, and Splake. Local charters are available for your Great Lakes fishing pleasure.

You are 10 minutes away, by boat or by land, from Bete Grise Beach which has miles of white sand shoreline for your walking, swimming or other water activities with views of one of the most scenic and pristine beaches and shoreline of the entire Great Lakes.4

You are 10 minutes away from Mount Bohemia ski and spa resort.

This property is beautifully decorated and provides everything needed to relax. It's quiet and the wildlife/bird viewing is amazing. There are several bald eagles at the lake and we had a family of ducks join us on our kayak trip.

I can’t say enough about this place, and the owners. They were so helpful with getting settled into the area, the house is clean and well maintained and such a wonderful place. Also, the views from the cabin are incredible. This was our first time using VRBO and it was perfect. Highly recommend booking here if you come to the UP!

The house was comfortable and decorated in cozy North woods decor. The yard was planted with a native pollen garden. The view from the deck of the waterfront was both beautiful and calming. The furniture was comfortable. The lake was quiet. The house was well supplied with basics for cooking. The linens were provided. My family enjoyed our time together and exploring the area. The owners were helpful with providing input on local hiking trails, food, and water features to visit.
