Maison des Amis Studio/Gite

Maison des Amis studio is located in the sunny south Vendée, in the small village of La Chapelle Themer. Run by Philip Johnson this beautifully restored traditional classic French village dwelling now offers a one bedroomed studio with private garden for two people. This private space has been designed and cleverly thought through for relaxing and comfortable long or short vacations in the quiet and tranquil village of La Chapelle Themer. Equally, this space is also useful to those who are working locally and want a bolt hole in the evenings to relax and revive.

Situated in the tiny hamlet of La Chapelle Themer in the Southern Vendée, Maison des Amis was the old village shop now restored to be our home as well as offering a one bedroomed studio with a private garden.

Four years ago, we decided to open our home to guests and run a small very successful B&B which rapidly gained interest and a deserved reputation for the warmth of our hospitality, the quality of the accommodation and good service. It is a great "get away" place to relax and unwind from busy city life. Due to our own demands of work and a busy life, I have now decided to open the self contained studio for guests to come and stay and enjoy the countryside, privacy and comfort the studio offers.

Accommodation - one bedroomed studio for a maximum of two adults. The mezzanine area offers a relaxed seating area with views of the rooftops over La Chapelle Themer.

The bedroom area leads onto a shower room with toilet, sink and towel radiator. Dressing gowns and slippers and toiletries to be included for your stay. Bedding, towels and beach towels are also included.

The kitchen comprises of a cooker, two ring hob, microwave and grill, fridge and cupboard space. A welcome pack will be provided for your arrival.

Relax on the mezzanine with a glass of wine and good book with the radio or watch TV from the comfort of your bed.. Wifi is available to you also.
