Located oceanfront on the pristine shores of Surf City on Topsail Island, "Parrotise" offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility. This charming rental is just minutes from local attractions, dining, coffee shops, bakeries, and shopping, yet situated far enough from the nightlife to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay. Enjoy the best of both worlds with direct beach access and a serene retreat at night. This oceanfront duplex features four bedrooms, three baths and inviting coastal decor.
This elegantly appointed reverse floor plan includes a spacious upper-level living room featuring Apple TV, hardwood flooring and a double slider opening to the covered upper oceanfront deck. Enjoy the sunrise on the deck with a cup of coffee or watch the sun set while surfers catch the last wave by the pier. The fully equipped kitchen features all the necessities of home, bar seating plus a dining area that can easily accommodate six. There is also a bedroom offering a queen bed, flat screen TV and full hall bathroom on this level.
Walking downstairs to the lower level you will find three additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The oceanfront master suite features a queen bed, flat screen TV, access to the oceanfront lower level deck and has a private full en-suite bathroom. In the hallway, you will find a brand new full-size washer and dryer. Proceeding down the hallway, the first bedroom on your left features a twin bed bunk bed. At the end of the hallway is the fourth bedroom featuring a queen bed and flat screen TV. Next to the fourth bedroom is the shared full hallway bathroom.
On the ground level, there is ample parking provided by two covered spaces and two open spaces in the driveway. On this level, access the private, enclosed outdoor shower featuring hot and cold water from the parking area or directly from the lower deck to wash off after a fun day on the beach.

Your rental home allows you to check-in directly at the property. Check-in typically becomes available BETWEEN 4:00 - 6:00 PM on the day of your scheduled arrival. As soon as your rental is ready for check in, we will send you a text message with all of your check-in instructions. Please understand that all homes must be cleaned and inspected before we are allowed to issue access details and you are not allowed to be at the property until you have received that text message.

All our vacation rentals include fully equipped kitchens, basic small appliances (microwaves, coffee makers, toasters), pillows, comforters/bedspreads, television(s) and more! Our vacation homes do not supply consumable items for guest use (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, soap, spices, cleaning products, etc.). Please plan accordingly for any items you may need during your stay.
You are welcome to bring your own linens, or we provide a linens rental service for your convenience. Some homes provide complimentary linens for select dates and this detailed information can be found in the description. While we understand this may impact your beach experience, refunds or compensation will not be provided for disruptions related to beach nourishment. For the latest updates, we recommend checking the town websites for Topsail Beach, Surf City, or North Topsail Beach. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions about potential beach impacts during your stay.
Water Pressure Notice: Please be aware that during popular rental dates, especially in the mornings and evenings, there may be temporary reductions in water pressure. This is a common occurrence across the island as many visitors are getting ready for the day or returning from the beach. We recommend planning showers and other water-related activities accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
Public Parking: The Town of Surf City enforces “Pay to Park” from March 1-Oct 31 from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in the Surf City Public Beach Access Parking Lots and other marked Public Parking Lots. The Town of North Topsail Beach will enforce “Pay to Park” from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM year-round. Onslow County operates three public parking areas/beach accesses within the Town of North Topsail Beach. To the best of our knowledge the county intends to continue operating these lots free of charge.
Leave No Trace: Topsail Island enforces a "Leave No Trace" policy in order to protect our shoreline, meaning you must remove all items, including tents and chairs, from the beach each day. Any items left behind are subject to theft, removal by the town, or possibility of being washed away by the ocean.
Turtle Nesting Season: From May to October, Topsail Island is a nesting ground for sea turtles. Be mindful of marked nests, limit oceanside deck lights, and follow local guidelines to protect them.
