I had a family vacation experience. We had 23 people and we had a wonderful time. We saw 8 bears during the time we were there. Actually that was the highlight of the trip for some of the younger ones. I would very much recommend this property!
We had our family reunion with 25 total people which included 19 teens and adults and 6 kids 8 and under. This home was a great space for all of us. We never felt crowded inside throughout our stay. Plenty of things to do in and around the home! Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook meals for a large group. Beautiful views! The one thing that surprised us was the number of bear sightings at the home. We saw lots of bears! We would highly recommend this place!
The views from the cabin were exceptional. There are a lot of games and spaces for activities. Our family enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole, and pool. The kitchen was well equipped with two refrigerators and a pantry for storage of food and supplies. We also enjoyed the long table where every one could sit together.Cindy B.
The Knotty Lodge is large, well appointed and has the most amazing views. Amy very quickly responded to our questions and was a pleasure to communicate with. Would love to return to the Knotty Lodge again at some point, but there’s a big world out there we still need to explore. Thank you, Amy.
Beautiful view! 3 levels with lots of room for our group of 26!(12 adults, 14 children). Love the long dining table and benches! Love the large parking area(not on the road), like many of the houses up there. Very comfortable beds and clean! So much to do inside the house( ping pong, pool table, air hockey, theatre room, etc)
We found the cabin to be as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. Our host was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen was very well appointed. We had plates, utensils and cooking pans for every meal we cooked. We had fifteen people in our group. The theater room was great, along with the air hockey table, for entertaining the grandkids. The location was breath taking, but, it was at least a 30 minute drive to get to most of the attractions. View was worth it!!
We stayed April 1 to 6, 2026. The lodge was clean and comfortable. There were 23 of us there for a family reunion and everyone had a bed. The bedroom situation was different than initially described, but there were even more beds than we expected. Beautiful mountain views from the cabin. It is about 1/2 hour from Pigeon Forge. Had a great time around the fire pit at night. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of room for dining. Fun things for the teens to do. We wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend this lodge to other large families.
We had an incredible stay at this mountain house and would absolutely come back. The views alone are worth it—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. The home itself is very well thought out and stocked with everything you could need. We really appreciated all the extra touches like toiletries, coffee, and condiments—it made settling in effortless and feel more like home than a rental. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings with the mountain views, and the game room was a huge hit for both adults and kids. There was always something to do, whether it was relaxing or having fun together. The proximity to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg was convenient. Overall, this place strikes a great balance between comfort, convenience, and experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We hope to host you again!
The views were amazing! Thank you for offering this beautiful cabin for all of us to enjoy our vacation together. We made some wonderful memories here and would love to return someday.
The property, to include the home itself and the land was fantastic. The home was booked for myself and 7 others. We were on a motorcycle trip from the Philadelphia area and stayed for three nights. The house had everything we needed and was super comfortable and clean. All of us enjoyed being so close to the Smoky Mountains and the awesome roads that surrounded the area. We road all day but looked forward to returning to the house in the evening, preparing dinner and then enjoying the fire pit with the unbelievable views. Thanks so much and we will definitely be returning.
Great get away. Cabin is close enough to the touristy stuff we wanted to do, but far enough away that we didn’t get caught up in all the hecticness. We would definitely stay here again.

Why they chose this property
We looked for a long time for the perfect property that would feel like a true family retreat, yet still have enough room for our extended family and friends. This cabin met all the requirements. With enough room to sleep up to 32 kids and adults, an upstairs lounge atmosphere for the adults, downstairs game room and theater for the kids and plenty of space to hold large dinners, cook for a crowd, enjoy the serene views, soak in the hot tub or just sleep your cares away in the luxurious beds, we couldn't say no to this property!
What makes this property unique
We personally manage our vacation properties and strive to keep them clean, up to date, stylish and beautiful!!!! Please take a look at our other properties if this one is booked.
