With views over the Princesse Ski and walking distance to the Princesse cable car, giving access to the Mont D'Arbois ski area, this small but cosy chalet is newly renovated in vieux bois ( old wood) and natural stone (pierre et ardoise). Situated in the Demi Quartier area of Megeve the chalet is also ideally situated next to the Equestrian Centre for summer horse riding and is a 6 minute drive to the Megeve village centre. There are wonderful open views over the children's ski school , the Princesse ski slopes and towards the Mont D'arbois. There is easy access to the private hameau in the winter as heavy snowfalls (chute de neige) are cleared early in the morning by snowplough.

Comprising an open plan living area with comfortable sofas, fur throws, leather and cowhide armchairs, antler chandelier, a large open fireplace, open plan fully appointed kitchen and separate dining area. The living area opens out onto a large terrace. There is also a Bose sound dock, CD player/radio for playing music.

Large TV/Playroom with 46 inch Flat screen TV with English Satellite TV or French TV, free wifi and loads of toys and DVDs and books.

Outside there is a small alpine garden surrounding the property with wooden steps down to a wooden decking area with an outdoor dining table and umbrella, two swings, seesaw and a fantastic children's slide. These must be used at your own risk needless to say! There is also a large sitting area on the outdoor terrace outside the living area on the ground floor.

This has been our family holiday home since 2005 and we have many many wonderful memories. We have built another chalet only 5 minutes away and so most of the school holidays we will be close by if there are any problems. We don't put away all the nice things for renters. You get the chalet the way we had it. And we ask that you look after our things as if they were your own.

Although we have designated the property as a no pets chalet please get in touch if you have a dog. We have a small Yorkie ourselves so in fact we are rather sympathetic to dog owners but would rather default to a 'no' an discuss with potential renters. So please get in touch if you have a dog.
