3 Bed 2 Bath Ocean View Home

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home! Located just a minute from Interstate 5 our home is the perfect place to base your San Diego vacation. We are close to restaurants and dining, the beach, family-friendly activities and much more. Carlsbad Village is one mile away with the beaches just beyond and Legoland is three exits South on I-5.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by an open plan living and dining area with peeking ocean views out the front windows! The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and large flat-screen TV that can be viewed from the dining table and kitchen. The dining area features a beautiful wooden table with seating for ten, perfect for enjoying meals with family and friends!

The fully-equipped kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and all the necessary cookware and utensils to prepare delicious meals. You can also enjoy your coffee at the bar or lounge with it on the back patio.

The master bedroom features a California King-size bed, a flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room. The second bedroom is equipped with a Queen-size bed, standing desk + office chair, and closet. The third bedroom is equipped with two twin bunk beds! The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo!

Outside, you'll find a spacious yard updated with artificial turf, perfect for soaking up the sun or playing some lawn games! There's also a barbecue grill, ideal for cooking up a delicious meal and enjoying a relaxing evening under the stars.

In the garage, you'll find a washer and dryer, beach equipment (chairs, umbrella, toys), and plenty of space to park one vehicle or store your belongings.

This vacation home is conveniently located near local shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful coast!

- Does your house have air conditioning?
No, we do not have air conditioning, however, our house is conveniently located at the crest of the hill with ocean views. This affords us a nice ocean breeze that can blow through the house to cool it down if windows on the front and back are left open.
- Can I bring my pet?
Yes! We happily accept pets upon request with payment of a $100 non refundable pet fee. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will be traveling with a pet!
- Do you have cable?
No, we do not have cable. Our smart tv's are wirelessly connected to the internet. These tv's are set up with apps such as Netflix, HBO, YouTube, Hulu, etc. We provide a logged in Netflix account for your enjoyment and you are welcome to sign into any of the other apps if you have an existing account.
- How far are you located from the beach?
We are 1.7 miles from the beach. It is about a 7 minute drive or a 35 minute walk.
- How far to downtown Carlsbad Village?
We are 1.5 miles from Carlsbad Village. It is about a 6 minute drive or 30 minute walk.
- How far to LegoLand?
We are just under 5 miles from LegoLand. It is less than a 10 minute drive three exits South on Interstate-5.

We had such a wonderful stay at this home. The place was appointed with such care by the host. We felt that our experience really mattered. The backyard was perfect for our dogs who really enjoyed running around and exploring everything. All the amenities were of a really good quality. Whenever, we needed anything the host responded quickly and took care of everything. The house itself was in a great location near parks and walking trails but just a short driving distance from restaurants, shops and the beach. We definitely plan to return!

The property had all the basics we needed. The location was minutes from grocery shopping, restaurants and the beach. We even went to the outlets. We were able use the beach gear they had which came in very handy! We absolutely enjoyed our time here, the house was perfect for our needs- truly a home away from home!

Quaint little visit

We had a great time relaxing in Carlsbad. We loved the house, perfect size and location for walks and proximity to beaches and shopping/restaurants. We accessed the village and the outlets. Found great places to eat. We were able to grocery shop and bbq at the house. Every need was met, house well stocked from the kitchen and living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Beach gear available and paddle tennis in the garage. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!!

Great place for families

Lovely home and neighborhood, close to the beach and reasonable drive to many other great tourist destinations in San Diego. Bunk room was great for kids and lots of little details helped like step stool in bathroom and kid dishware. No AC but ceiling and floor fans helped and there was usually always a breeze so it was not a major concern for us. We would definitely come back!

No words Can fully describe the wonderful experience we had in this property. The property was neat and clean. Comfortable. Loved the 30 minute walk to the beach (one way). And, wished we made time to play some ping pong, which is in the garage. Quiet neighborhood. We never had to contact the owner. We had everything we needed.

Loved Old Carlsbad!

The home is convenient, clean and we'll equipped. It felt like home. The home owner left a sweet personalized note and the home was easy to find and easy to get to the beach and other area attractions. My friend and I left our husbands at home and brought 4 kids with us. Even though it's a 2 bedroom and 1 bath it felt roomy and the kids loved staying in the game room! We loved staying here, sad to leave. We'll definitely rent this place again!

Wonderful Immaculate Home

This home was immaculate and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and every item you could think of was included ( tissues, paper towels, soap etc). The home was near downtown (5 minute drive) The only criticiscm would be if the weather is hot there is NO air conditioning. Our stay had an unusual heat wave of 90's and the house didn't cool down even with fans. The interior was a warm 88 degrees. We had a pet so it was very uncomfortable for us and our pet. We managed and remained outside in the patio area until almost 8 p.m.

Exceeded expectations from the start

Our party consisted of 2 adult couples, 3 children (6, 8, 13), and a small dog. The bedrooms were larger, common areas more substantial, and outdoor areas more useful than we had hoped. Interior finishes are VERY nice, and from end to end this feels more like a home than a rental from the moment you walked in. Plenty of easy, dedicated, off street parking on a very quiet street. The most noise we heard all week was from the occasional helicopter or airplane fly-over (to be expected). We all agree that we hope to use this property again. We will bring a Keurig for our coffee habit next time, but the conventional brewer was also up to the task... I have nothing but good things to say, including the immediate responses to all of my inquiries by Courtney (the host). Thank you so very much!

Not for senior adults!

The bathroom with tub / shower was very difficult to get in and out. We are a group of friends age 69. I almost slipped twice. Also, not having Air conditioning was not disclosed until i asked. In summer its hot and it was very stuffy And uncomfortable. Need rails on front porch and back yard steps. Its not suitable or anyone with bad knees and not ADA suitable or compliant. Needed standard toaster. There were no directions for toaster oven or TV. The bunk beds are suitable only for kids! This unit said “sleeps 7. Not true. It should say “4 adults plus kids in bunk bed room.” It was “OK” but not very good for our group. The furniture was not comfortable to sit on in living room and dining chairs. Outdoor backyard was nice.
