Apart from the access road it would be great
This is a lovely property in a lovely position with great views of Tuscany. The price of this is the access road, which is around a mile long, climbs steeply and is a mixture of gravel and poorly laid concrete. If you have a 4*4 then this won't worry you, but my Honda Jazz got badly shaken about and struggled with the final climb (the Jazz is under powered). If you have a low slung car this isn't for you because the drive is crossed by deep drainage channels which are angled - and so have to be dealt with 4 times as each tyre crosses them We concluded in the end that we had to minimise potential damage to the car by staying put and only going out if we really had to and we left a day early. So no trips to restaurants as we'd hoped - and dinner became pasta, pasta and more pasta as we had no grill or oven - and the Italians don't do microwave food - so what would have been easy to fix in the UK was not there. If you think I'm a wimp we live on a mountain in Mid-Wales and have a 1/2 miles long private access - so I am used to off-roading. Anyway just to allow you to make your own mind up look for the You Tube in car video - search on g4shf Agriturismo Ca 'del Bosco
