Spacious townhouse sleeps 8, sandwiched between a beautiful pool and golf course
Our four bedroom property is situated in La Cala de Mijas which is a small coastal town, originally a small fishing village and now a popular destination for those wishing to visit a charming town which retains much of its Andalusian seaside character.
The house is situated in a gated complex, about ten minutes walk from the town or fifteen minutes to the beach. It is sandwiched in a tranquil location between the local golf course and the residents’ shared swimming pool right outside the front door!
The house has four bedrooms, one master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, two twin-bedded rooms and a further double bedroom on the top floor with a fabulous outside terrace overlooking the beautiful pool. There is a large family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom.
The kitchen has been completely renewed and has all modern appliances including wine cooler and leads to a separate laundry area.
The large lounge diner leads out onto a terrace overlooking the golf course and is perfect for dining or BBQ-ing alfresco.
There is a wood-burning stove for the winter months but also the house is fully airconditioned.
TV and wifi is available.

I currently live in Beckenham and have two adult children who love this house in La Cala as much as I do. I am about to retire from the shipping business and definitely plan to be spending more time enjoying Spain but for those times that I am not there I am happy to let other people discover our little slice of paradise!
Why they chose this property
This property has a lovely light and airy feel to it and is so well located with everything in walking distance, shops, a wide variety of restaurants and the beach with its 7km boardwalk only a 10-15 minute walk away with many chiringuitos (bars!) along the way.
What makes this property unique
This property is also a great base from which to travel and explore the surrounding areas. There are buses to Malaga and Marbella and a train station in Fuengirola to Malaga which facilitates direct transport to and from Malaga airport.
