The House was simply wonderful! Very clean and well equipped. The pool was definitely a highlight – perfect for relaxing and great fun for the kids during the hot days. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back

Peaceful and characterful

I well fitted out Gite with lots of French Provençal character, plus a nice pool. Sheltered within a garden full of mature trees there’s shade too. There’s plenty of outside seating, a large front room and good bedrooms. Well placed for trips to beautiful villages and Mount Verdon...bring your bike if you dare.

Fabulous

What a great find! In a delightfully shady spot with a swimming pool and air con, this house was in a perfect location to visit the nearby villages, towns, markets and vineyards. The host was a great mix of letting us just get on with our holiday, whilst also providing suitable recommendations for excisions. If you are visiting in the summer, do find time to listen to his suggestions and absolutely walk along the Gorge to Toulourenc.

Beautiful Place

This property is nestled in a little patch of forest that provides shade from the summer sun. It is rustic with old-world charm, but has lots to offer. A good location to explore Capentras and Mazan, as well as Bedoin, Mt Ventoux, Isle sur la Sorgue and Avignon. Carpentras is an interesting local hub without much tourism. It's a working French town with some good restaurants and shopping. The house itself is on the smaller side, but plenty large enough for a family of four. The single shower is a small downside. The kitchen is small but practical. The furniture in the living might be slightly oversized and personally, I would remove one of the couches for a more spacious feel. But all these are minor things and we were very happy at the property and Phillipe's communication.

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in dem sehr gemütlichen Haus. Das Grundstück in ruhiger Lage ist sehr groß mit schönem Pool sowie komplett umzäunt, was für unseren Hund ideal war. Perfekt zum Entspannen für die ganze Familie! Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die drei Einheiten stören sich gar nicht, da ihre Terrassen in unterschiedliche Richtungen orientiert sind. Der Vermieter ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hier kann man wirklich toll Urlaub machen und von hier aus die wunderschöne Gegend erkunden. Wir hoffen darauf, bald wieder kommen zu können!

Environnement idéal, typiquement provençal avec ses cigales et très ombragé pour aider à supporter la chaleur. La maison est bien équipée, plutôt rustique et convient pour 4 pers, 5 grand max.La piscine est belle et agréable mais malheureusement pas chauffée (22 degrés) apparemment exceptionnel en cette période de l’année.

Beau gîte en Vaucluse

Le gîte est très bien situé à proximité de Carpentras, avec toutes les commodités rapidement accessibles. Carpentras est idéal pour visiter toute la région à 30mn de route alentour ( Isle sur la Sorgue, route du vin, Avignon, Ventoux, Orange ou Luberon), 1h max pour certains sites à ne pas rater (Baux de Provence par exemple)

Wunderschöner, friedlicher Ort

Das wunderschöne Haus und der Garten sind mit sehr viel Liebe angelegt und von Philippe und Sylvie mit viel Hingabe gepflegt. Ein schattiges Wäldchen spendet Kühle in der provenzalischen Hitze, genauso wie erfrischende der Pool. Die Möbel sind teilweise ausgesuchte Antiquitäten, viel Liebe zum Detail steckt in der Einrichtung. Da unsere Reise sich etwas anders gestaltet hat als geplant sind wir Philippe und Sylvie außerordentlich dankbar, dass sie sich viel Zeit genommen haben, uns zu helfen. Die Wohnungen sind im Erdgeschoss, aber nicht im klassischen Sinne rollstuhlgerecht, und auch der Garten ist mit dem Kies schwer zu befahren. In Absprache mit den beiden lassen sich aber viele Lösungen finden.

Un havre de paix sous les pins

L'arrivée à la grande Peyrière s'est faite sans aucun problème. Les indications du propriétaire, Philippe, étaient très claires. Le jour de notre arrivée, comme prévu, nous avons eu la visite de Sonia qui nous a donné toutes les infos utiles, fonctionnement des appareils, etc. La maison est très bien équipée, et entièrement climatisée - bien apprécié en ce mois de juin 2023 particulièrement chaud. La piscine, partagée avec les deux autres logements (chacun disposant d'un espace extérieur privatif), est merveilleuse, avec plein de parasols et de chaises longues. La situation dans un environnement boisé procure intimité et fraîcheur. Nous avons pris tous nos repas dehors, profitant de la grande table, qui peut accueillir de multiples convives. Un super marché se trouve à 4 minutes en voiture et la petite ville de Mazan est à 10 minutes à peine. Les hôtes Philippe et Sylvie sont absolument charmants. Philippe nous a fourni une multitude de suggestions d'endroits à découvrir dans cette magnifique région du Ventoux. Avignon à 25 minutes, bien sûr, mais aussi les fabuleuses gorges de la Nesque, Gordes et plein de sublimes villages plantés au milieu des champs de lavande, des vignes et des oliviers. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir car les 8 jours que nous y avons passés sont loin d'avoir été suffisants!

Die ausführlichen Infos des Vermieters vor der Anreise machten das Check In sowie den Aufenthalt unkompliziert und wir konnten das gepflegte provenzialische Haus und das Anwesen mit dem Pool geniessen. Auch die Housekeeper Sonia und Gatte waren zur Stelle, wenn man sie brauchte. Die Lage des Anwesens ist zentral und man erreicht die Ziele in dieser wunderschönen Gegend problemlos und kann vieles neu für sich entdecken. Naheliegende Orte, wie Carpentras, laden zum Bummeln, Verweilen und auch zum Einkauf auf dem Wochenmarkt ein oder wenn’s sein muss auch „Super U“ oder Leclerc. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben einen schönen Urlaub gehabt.

Belle location, très agréable agrémentée d'une piscine bien appréciée

Merci pour cette semaine superbe passée dans votre maison "La Grande Peyrière", belle location bien agencée, très propre et avec un bon confort. Les cigales ont été là avec la température presque caniculaire mais plus agréable à supporter qu'à Lyon. La piscine est bien appréciée pour atténuer les chaleurs de l'été. Belle région à découvrir ou re-découvrir sans limite que ce soit le géant de Provence, les villages typiquement provençaux ( Malaucène, Bédouin, Seguret, Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise, Crillon le Brave, Caromb, Venasque, Barroux et son château , et bien sûr Carpentras ), la gastronomie sans oublier les délicieux vins gorgés de soleil de cette belle région. Merci pour cette parenthèse familiale agréable malgré la chaleur et un enfant de 2 ans qui s'est trouvé très vite à l'aise dans ce jardin.

Magnifique séjour

Maison avec beaucoup de charme dans les infrastuctures et la déco. Beaucoup d'espace dans les pièces. Trés calme, située en-dehors du village dans un écrin de verdure au milieu des arbres. Magasins, pharmacie, boulangerie, etc. à proximité. Super bien équipée. Les enfants ont particulièrement apprécié la piscine. Peut-être juste ajouter une lampe bleue (ou autre procédé) pour contrer les moustiques fort présents :-D

Erholung pur

Ein wirklich friedlicher Ort, an dem wir uns wunderbar erholt haben. Das Grundstück ist eine kleine, hübsche Oase; der Pool war bei 35 Grad super, haben ihn jeden Tag mehrmals genutzt. Wohnung ist super ausgestattet, Küche hat genügend Geschirr, so dass man die Spülmaschine auch füllen kann. Mit den Mietern der anderen beiden Wohnungen kommt man sich nicht in die Quere, wenn man nicht will. Und die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Danke an Sylvie und Philippe, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist groß genug für 4 Personen und ansprechend möbliert.Die Küche bietet allen Komfort. Einzig die Betten sind nicht für große Menschen geeignet. Der Außenbereich ist durch die vielen Bäume recht schattig, was im heißen Sommer ausgesprochen angenehm ist. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

Great peacefull location and a very Nice house

We have enjoyed our 2 week holliday , the location is quiet and private , a Nice house with everything you need . If you like to swim a Nice big swimmingpool with places in the sun and shadow, and its a really nice step in stairs to get in the pool , also really handy for people with small disability's . Lots of Nice things to do around in the area , from Nice villages , markets and nature , so for everybody there is something. And i want to add a special thanks to Philippe for his suggestions he gave us what is Nice tot see and do around there. Vacances en famille

Très agréable propriété, au calme dans un environnement magnifique. Les alentours sont le point de départs de randonnées exceptionnelles. La maison a tout le confort nécessaire, même plus. Sonia et son époux ont été présents dès que cela a été nécessaire, La piscine est à l’écart des différents gîtes et permet de se rafraîchir au retour de nos escapades. Elle est un peu froide , peut-être que le mois de septembre qui est un peu moins chaud en est la cause. Elle est nettoyée régulièrement. Merci au propriétaire pour ses retours rapides à toutes mes questions et pour m’avoir recommandé les sites incontournables de la région. Maman est une petite ville très agréable. Une petite suggestion cependant, une petite bouteille d’eau fraîche dans le frigidaire pour l’arrivée des hôtes serai peut-être un plus, ainsi que quelques produits pour l’entretien de la maison éventuellement, même si le ménage est compris dans le prix de la location.

Merci pour vos gentils commentaires. Le temps a été un frais cet été 2021 mais au moins il a fait très beau contrairement à d'autres régions. L'eau de la piscine a donc été plus fraiche que d'habitude. En ce qui concerne vos suggestions nous allons en tenir compte dès 2022. Au plaisir de vous revoir

séjour très agréable. Maison parfaite

Nous avons été enchantés par la location. Il y a fait bon vivre . Nous avions l'impression d'être chez nous. Equipements parfait. Vaisselle au complet rien ne manquait
