There are plenty of supermarkets to do your food shopping some within walking distance, there is a small grocery store for milk and essentials also a fresh fruit shop, bakery and a Chemist within a 10 minute walk. There are a number of larger supermarkets along the strip to do a full shop for the week if you need to, many of them sell fresh Fruit and fresh Fish.

We understand how important it is for you to be able to take your holiday when you want; we aim to be as flexible as possible with regard to duration of stay and arrival/departure dates.
Check-in is from 16.00 and departure by 10.00. (These times may be flexible).
To guarantee a late check out from the property you will need to book and pay for an additional nights stay, which will allow you to stay in the property until your departure for the airport.
If you prefer you can wait until you are in resort and speak with the property managers directly.
Generally a late checkout can only be confirmed a few days before your scheduled departure as it depends on whether an arrival is expected in to the property and whether cleaning schedules can be organised to accommodate. This is granted at the property manager's discretion and unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.
Depending on the number of extra hours required a small fee will apply.

Blessed by the mild Mediterranean climate La Manga Del Mar Menor has at least 315 days of sun per year. Minimum temperatures range between 12-14C and maximum temperatures between 20-22C in winter. Summer temperatures vary between 18-20C minimum and between 30-35C maximum. The average annual temperature is 18C.
The Mar Menor is called “the world's largest swimming pool” because of its warm temperatures. Since it is also superficial, play is an ideal place for children to their hearts. La Manga del Mar Menor is convenient to a number of important tourist sites. It is only a few hours of major centers such as Murcia and Cartagena. This means more opportunities for families to explore the best of Spain. Both cities have a rich history that both the interest of children and adults. Museums, ancient ruins, churches and monuments to attract tourists on family vacations. Even the youngest family members will appreciate the Maritime Museum in Cartagena and the Bullfighting Museum in Murcia. De Torrevieja Water Park (Torrevieja Aquopolis) was also in a few hours drive from La Manga del Mar Menor. .
CARTAGENA
The ancient port of Cartagena is the second most important city in the region and the centre of the Mediterranean Maritime Department. It predates to the Roman period and boasts the ruins of a Roman theatre, archaeological museums plus a number of interesting examples of military and modernist exhibits and architecture.
Places of interest within Cartagena include the Church of Santa Maria La Vieja, the Torre Ciega, Torres Park and the Castle de la Concepcion. One of the prettiest areas in the city is its port, where you can find the Modernist Town Hall and several monuments - including one dedicated to the Heroes of Cavite and Santiago de Cuba, and the work of Isaac Pearl in 1888 dedicated to the first submarine in the world ever to be launched. Before leaving Cartagena make sure you also visit the Archeological Museums.
MURCIA
The historic city of Murcia, the capital of the province, is just 20 minutes drive away. Murcia is a truly beautiful City and as one of the most diverse regions in Europe is well worth a visit.
This ancient City boasts cultural and architectural influences dating from the Carthaginians, the Greeks, the Romans and the Arabs. It is a great place to shop and for sightseeing the unique hoards of baroque art and architecture, and the famous casino is definitely worth a visit if only for the extravagant décor.
